    Only two eps to go.

Not a fan of clip shows, so I mostly scanned through "Way Back When."

"Two Fallen Foes", though, was pretty good. I thought it was fitting that Will was the one to destroy Camdor. And Miratrix is trapped in that locket forever.

Next ep, Flurious finally decides to do something! Yay! And with only one more ep to go after that! I'm leaning toward "poor planning" regarding Flurious, but I guess I can understand why.

All leading up to the final ep on Nov. 15th: "Crown and Punishment."

At this point, I'm more interested in Jungle Fury next year, but we probably won't see a promo for that till December.

    Default Crown and Punishment

Weird that it ended at episode 31 instead of episode 32 like Mystic Force.

Alright, was pretty much by the numbers for a final episode. However, no two ways about it, Mac EXECUTED Flurious. Didn't expect that, but I'm glad even the Sentinal knight questioned it. And why? Cause there was only ten minutes left and they had to fast forward to the Mac Becomes Human segment?

I felt this series simply suffered from poor planning. Maybe all PR seasons do, but if that's the case, this one was the most obvious. They could have got to Mac being damaged a different way instead of using all his power to execute Flurious. They could have come up with something better to explain why Moltar now had possession of Valla. I mean those are just off the top of my head.

Still, I think this season succeeded in spite of itself. I loved the chemistry of the cast, the Ranger battles, even the look of the villains.

Well that's it for Operation Overdrive. Can't wait till February for JUNGLE FURY!

I think this once again proved my worst fears about cutting down on the number of episodes for Power Rangers, while I do feel that Operation Overdrive was much, much better than Mystic Force(like you stated that cast had great chemistry and the action scenes were some of the best in awhile), it was still rushed. I think that maybe it's time that the shows creators started taking more time and be more original with the concepts, because waiting for the Senti shows to wrap isn't working for them with the current episode count.

We saw alot of improvment with Operation Overdrive and I'm hoping that Jungle Fury will continue that.

I could be wrong, but isn't it a surplus/deficit sort of thing? If the last season didn't do well, that affects the next season? And/or depending on if the season goes over budget.

*shrugs* Who knows, but you may have a point. The things is, the Sentai footage saves them a LOT of money, so yeah, maybe its time they started being creative with with little footage they get if the Sentai show is still going on while they're filming. Especially with the episode count dropping.

Also, now that its all said and done, I STILL don't think we needed Norg. All his scenes could have been replaced with either Flurious talking to a lieutenant, or more characterization at the Hartford house.

It has nothing to do with Sentai, it has to do with budget and how many episodes the suits give them.

It ends in episode 32, actually.
But I am so happy that Flurious was the final villain. Honestly. He was the only great thing about the show.

Default Next Big Screen Power Rangers Movie

If they make another Power Rangers film released into theaters, what would you want it to be about? Would it be entirely new? A remake? A reunion? Other?

A reunion sounds good, make Zedd the big bad for the movie, badass Lord Zedd at that.

Well since it's all purpose, here's a link to a recent thread I made concerning Ranger durability.

I'd make a reunion movie, featuring Jason, Tommy, Kimberly, Aisha, Adam, and Billy.

-It's 20 years in the future, and all traces of Dino and Zeo power has disappeared. They are all living separate lives, doing their own things. Tommy, however, has been searching for a way to recreate the Morphing Grid. He was warned one year ago about an evil that would cause the end of earth, and Tommy didn't take this lightly. Jason has disappeared to China to find himself, and reconnect spiritually with himself, and still deal with the fact that the glory says are over. Kimberly is a singer in a band who is still in love with Tommy, Adam is a martial arts teacher, Aisha is living a calm life in Africa, and Billy is a nuclear technician.
-The first villains to appear are warriors from across the universe that served the Ultimate Evil. They want to return him to earth for revenge on those who wronged him.
-The Rangers see the attacks by the monsters, and try to stop them, but fail miserably. Everyone leaves to try to make new Power Coins(Billy may have solved how to), except Jason and Tommy, who are the first to see the min villain of the movie.
-The Ultimate Evil is none other than Lord Zedd. I don't feel like describing it again, but a while ago I wrote something about his essence being its own form or something. Anyways, he takes out both Jason and Tommy, who retreat back to hq.
-The Rangers finally get their old school powers back, but now with super shiny armor. Due to a Power surge, Tommy skips Green to White.
-Lord Zedd brings back eleven of the fiercest monsters of MMPR: King Sphinx, Pudgy Pig, Knasty Knight, Terror Toad, Dark Warrior, Lizzinator, Slippery Shark, Skelerena, Flamehead, Bloom Of Doom, and Magnetbrain. They are lead by a resurrected(and pissed) Goldar.
-After a bunch of fights, Tommy, sacrifices himself to be stabbed by Goldar in battle infront of Jason. He seems dead, but reappears as a revved up Green Ranger!
-After fight after fight, the Rangers win, and are recharged by the spirit of Zordon. And just in time, too.
-The fight we have waited for: The Power Rangers vs. Lord Zedd!
-Zedd begins to tear them apart, and it seems as if he is unbeatable but they combine the entire Morphing Grid(which is almost all of the universe's energy) into one final blow, that finally destroy him.
-Before Zedd dies, he combines all of his generals and monsters from the movie into one super monster. The Rangers call upon every single Zord of MMPR, and finally win once and for all, leave the world at peace.
