Oh, really? I thought the rule was to use sentai footage whenever possible, so I thought the team ups were borne out of that. They had PLENTY of material to work with for an SPD/MF crossover had it happened. Hmm. Learn something new. Though I did know Forever Red was all 100% original (the bad guy was in a Big Bad Beetle Borg outfit :D).

Yeah , the american teamups are mostly original footage except for the PRLS/PRLG teamup which stole most of the footage directly from the japanese movie.

Man, Time Force was a gem. The Eric/Wes stuff was legitimately awesome tv.

Ninja Storm is my favorite-- Cam becoming Green Ranger is my favorite PR moment ever.

DT could have been so much more. The White Ranger transformation sequence was badass and the story had so much potential.


Now as for the SPD x-over...ugh. That was bad. And that wasn't Tommy's voice, was it?

Slight correction: in addition to the LR/Galaxy team-up, the Zeo/Alien Ranger team-up was also mostly Japanese footage.

Don't forget, next Monday is the 15th anniversary two parter ep, "Once A Ranger..." Supposedly the Rangers get captured by Thrax (Rita and Lord Zedd's never before mentioned son) so the Templar Knight assemles a new team of Rangers from the past present and future to rescue them. Supposedly Bridge will be SPD red. I'm still holding out for Jack, you never know (Hey, Brandon MacLauren girlfriend Emma Lahana will be there as the Yellow Ranger, why not tag along?).

EDIT: Nevermind, it IS Bridge, not Jack. :(

This season may not be the best example, but overall Power Rangers has been a consistantly good show with good storylines.

Next season: Power Rangers: Jungle Fury! No I didn't make that up.

Although this season hasn't been great,its far from the worst I've seen.I did love the two part "Once a Ranger".It was great seeing my favorite Ranger,Kira,back in action.It did make me wonder how a season would be of a team made up of past rangers.Might be interesting.
