I want this book set so badly the art work is jsut so killer from what i looked at on http://www.comicbookdb.com/index.php

I was also wanting to know a little about the story line on this comic book set i was told it is a run of comics from 1-8 (being 8 is coming out next month some time?)

so please tell me a little about this book set please & also would it be worth it to pay full book price for 1-8 ? and also are the is the book about punks ?

I only read the first issue. I enjoyed it, but I decided to wait for the trade. Rob Spears is a writer I love and have enjoyed ever since Teenagers From Mars. The first one never got to the actual pirates, but essentialy a run away boy gets to Coney Island and deals with groups of teenagers, the apparent good guys (assuming of course never got past the first issue like I said) the Pirates and the bad guys, the all female Cherry Bombs (again I believe this is the case). It looked like the two groups hate each other and there will of course be a thing that comes to blows. It was youthful and exciting and I can't wait for the collection, I really wish I could have gotten the Becky Cloonan cover instead cuz I do love her art, but ah well. I say go for it, if nothing else go get Teenager's From Mars, sure that will make you want to get this series right away.
