lmao, yeah we're all comic book guys.

anyway, it's just one shot of two face in the hospital soon after the accident at that. he could look quite different when he's walking around, flippin' coins and such.

also, they've been underwraps about it because comic fans are the only people that know "Harvey Dent=Two-Face". I can say that 75-80% of people that are not into comics that are gonna see this and be surprised that Two-face shows up. they're just expecting Joker/Bats.

and I know there was a movie with Harvey dent/two-face before but the attention-span of the average american that doesn't read will not retain the secret identity of a Batman villain.

seriously. I know some people that aren't comic fans will put it together, and kids who know DCAU, but most people will be surprised. out of the 15 trailers/commercials, only one of them shows two-face i think.

Have you seen comic book Two-Face?
. we are all CGI savvy here we will see it a mile away and will be distracted by it. modern prosthetics can do a completely faithful twoface imo films like day of the dead, 28 days/weeks later and other movies with heavy makeup work where all done brilliantly without the stupid need to insert distracting CGI after doing all those scenes without it i dont understand why Nolan went CGI with twofaces scarring.
Sounds to me like you just hate ANY use of CGI at all. Maybe they tried the prosthetics look and found that the combination of prosthetics with a little CGI looked better.

I dont know why, the extent of the scarring isnt what twoface is about its just that the scarring happened. Early manips from a few CBR fans had very minimal scarring i liked those and even if they wanted to do a comic book accurate look they could have easily done it with prosthetics like i said movies like Day of the dead, some parts of Terminator 1, 2, 28 days later ect where all makeup work.

Dude... it's mostly make up work. They did some CG on it, but he's still wearing prosthetics on his face.

i fail to see how adding makeup to a face would give a realistic impression that much of the face has been burned away.

If they're trying to make it look like there's less flesh there, CG sounds like a reasonable way to go.

No way. CGI sucks. They should have actually burned the flesh off his face. Down with CGI of all kind.

Aaron Eckhart is clearly a very un-committed actor.

    Damien... CHILL... OUT...

He's not like a cartoon Spider-Man swinging around in mid air on the first shot of Spidey 2.

As stated before, it's part prosthetics, a SMALL part CGI. As long as CGI is there to enhance the action (like putting rotor blades on a stunt helicpoter with no real blades for Die Hard 4), it's okay. When it BECOMES the action (like having the final fight of Van Helsing be a CGI werewolf vs a CGI vampire), we got a problem.

Harvey's face being part CGI will NOT become the action.

What kind of a world do we live in where people are complaining about a perfect looking Two-Face because they flawlessly used CGI to help pull it off? If we hadn't been told that I doubt anybody would've known.

    Madness I say!

I think we'll get to the "flawless" when we've got some clips of him doing stuff, or the film comes out, whichever is first...

Unless I missed it but I don't think we have enough of him to judge.

    Calm down, it looked fine.

How? Hold a casting call for two guys who both look and sound like Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, and can actually act on top of that?

Huge Bat-Signal Projected Over NYC + Chicago

Tuesday's Citizens for Batman events in NYC and Chicago ended with enormous Bat-signals projected above the cities. CBR was in New York to see what one fan called “geeks stopping traffic.”
