    Default Apocalypse Appreciation

Suprised? Yes, he actually has feats.

    Power Status

    • Hulk-level/above Hulk-level strength.
    • Complete molecular control of his body enabling a highly-developed form of shape-shifting and also gives him the ability to duplicate any physical super power and potential transmutation abilities.
    • Energy absorption/manipulation.
    • Psionic powers/Telepathy and Telekinesis.
    • Some level of control of his Celestial technology. The exact level seems to be contradicted through the comics.
    • Extra-dimensional power-increase to give himself near-limitless/limitless power.
    • Near-invulnerability and swift regeneration
    • Near-complete immunity to telepathic attacks.
    • Teleportation.
    • Techno-Organic Virus gives him unparalleled ability to interface with technology.
    • Genius level intellect, expert in mutant biology and genetics.

    Physical Powers

Apocalypse fights Prime Eternal Ikarus. His punch waylays Ikarus, while his bearhug proves inescapable to Ike. Ikarus's punch also doesn't hurt Apocalypse.

    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...apocmorph4.png
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...apocmorph5.png

Apocalypse fights the High Evolutionary while having a philosophical discussion with him. Apocalypse laughs off a big blast from HE, it doesn’t effect him. Apocalypse also hurts HE in altered size, and sends him sailing with one shot.

    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...n95/powe26.png

Apocalypse fights the norse god of lies and mischief himself. Loki needs to put effort into breaking free from his one handed grip (notice his facial grimace). Loki is estimated to be between class 50 and 70, so he’s a strong guy.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/powers15.png
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/powers16.png

Apocalypse fights the X-Men in a weak state, and defeats them under sixty seconds. Apocalypse also Blows himself up and regenerates while severely weakened.

    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...20-20X-C-1.jpg
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...20-20X-C-2.jpg
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...pocblowsup.png

Apocalypse restrains the Hulk with one arm. He did have leverage on his side there in dragging him, but he got the Hulk into that position in the first place and the Hulk couldn’t break free.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/powers11.png

Apocalypse holds She-Hulk apparently helpless in a choke. He also shows that he can detach his head from his body and fly it around, so decapitation shouldn’t be a problem.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37.../apochulk4.png

Apocalypse one shots Frenzy, who’s durability (which was already very impressive) and strength were uncontrollably amped multiple times over.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...n95/powe34.png

Apocalypse takes all of Cable’s power focused into one massive psimitar blast directly on him, to no effect. Apocalypse also takes Cable down in one hit. Cable’s fought the savage Hulk (Onslaught controlled) and didn’t have that type of trouble with him.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...n95/powe37.png
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...n95/powe38.png

Apocalypse regenerates from a puddle of ooze while severely weakened.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...cregernate.png

Apocalypse heals very fast from being stabbed through his body by one. Nice morphings, snaps the necks of a few of his most powerful descendants that became vampires Also kills them with a nice blade hand morphing.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/apocstab.png
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37.../apocstab2.png

Apocalypse is bitten by Dracula and even fell under some of his influence in a weakened state, and being a vampire at that point he would possesses vampiric powers and have control over them after healing to them as he does with other infections. Dracula doesn’t lose control over all vampires (he has control over all vampires as lord of the vampires) due to the distraction of pain- as he lost control of Apocalypse, so it seemed Apocalypse was already healing, and Dracula seemed to be trying to exert his will on Apocalypse after he was stabbed and it did not work, which should indicate he had already healed. He most definitely had after the fight with his healing powers working.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...noncontrol.png

Apocalypse takes X-Factor, the Inhumans, (Black Bolt!) Askani/Rachael Summers, and Charlotte Jones w/big tech gun- hitting him with everything they had to no effect, he waded through it.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...95/powers4.png

Apocalypse takes Cyclops’ full power blast like nothing hit him.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...95/powers6.png

Again, Apocalypse takes on Cyclops' optic beam with no effect on him, even in his weakened state woken from his sleep too early.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...95/powers5.png

Once again, Cyclops's optic beam has no effect on Apocalypse.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...ocnoeffect.png

    Pulse finds Apocalypse's strength incredible.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...ocstrength.jpg
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...cstrength2.jpg

Apocalypse's shape-shifting abilities gives him great agility enough to cold-cock Beast.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...ocalypse02.jpg

    Mental Powers

Apocalypse reads Ozymandias’ mind of all the events that happened since X-Ecutioner’s Song in a moment.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/powers10.png

Apocalypse mentally controls his Celestial tech.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/Apoctech.png

Apocalypse telekinetically raising his palace from under the ground
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...palacerise.png

Apocalypse, even weakened he punks Jean Grey psionically.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37.../psionic53.png

    Apocalypse mind blasts Xavier.
    http://static.mojefotke.si/1ddaf62cd...a32887b5f7.JPG

Apocalypse creates a powerful mantis creature out of nothing, and telepathically speaks through it.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...n95/powe33.png

Apocalypse takes a full telekinetic blast from Exodus with no effect, and blasts Exodus away. Apocalypse also creates a force field able to hold and even pre-powerdown Exodus.

    Energy Powers

Apocalypse destroys Invisible Woman's force field with a single blast.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...95/powers7.png

Apocalypse sucks Cyclops bone dry of energy.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...95/powers6.png

A weakened Apocalypse’s single blast meant for humans, weakens Jean Grey after hitting her forcefield (heck it even knocks himself over)
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...5/powers22.png

Apocalypse is able to generate a seemingly endless supply of projectiles from his body is very interesting, it seems it’s energy so more to add to the self generating energy fire.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...pocenergy2.png

Apocalypse snaps his fingers to cause energy explosions.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...n95/powe41.png

Apocalypse can easily disintegrate a person in his hand.
    http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y37...illshuman4.png

Interesting energy direction. Shows that Apocalypse can control his energy projections.

I'll like to point out that Apocalypse's "children" are able to shape-shift, for example, their hands into weapons, and they only have some of his “blood” (a fraction of his power), there's none or whatsoever technology in their bodies. This would indicate that they are in fact able to transmutate their bodies. And if they are now capable of it, so should Apocalypse.

Not bad for a guy that was originally just a replacement for The Owl. ;)

Loved him in the '90s X-Men cartoon, btw.

Indeed. In fact, even Animated Apocalypse deserves some respect!

Apoc, who has been brought to the ground finds that Wolverine have jumped up on his torso and says "My mother always wanted me to be a surgeon.", preparing to slash up Apoc.

Apoc, however, just calls him a "Foolish insect!"

And breaks free from the chains holding him.

    And then it comes:

No, not even Wolverine's freakin' adamantium claws are able to cut through his armored body. They don't even leave a scratch on him.

Apoc proceeds by slapping Wolverine away.

He then notches that Cyclops is preparing to fire his optic blast against him.

But Apoc just throws Archangel at Cyclops, effectively defeating him.

nice thread, I didnt know Apo fought the High evolutionary. I did know about Hulk tho, which is the definitive proof his strenght is rather unmatched

whats the deal with his plans getting flushed away- and his reputation going down among the fans-then? Well, first of all he needs regeneration which is probably the greatest of his weaknesses. Plus, his strategies are WAY too elaborate. Dude could simply rely on his strenght and kill everyone in his way...but nooo, it's got to involve genetics, knights, future, past, askani, cable, profecies, celestials
in short: he's a perfectionist, and thats what it always kept him from winning

I like En Sabah Nur very much. Cool design, Ancient Egypt background, great powers..but the whole "king of the future" and Darwinist theories need to rest a bit. If they focused more on his Celestial background that'd be a cool idea to revitalize the character

I'll agree with early X-Factor plus sporadic appearances after that.

Hah! This is how close we were of having an Apoc Vs. the Fantastic Four. He just happens to fly by, and everyone gets scared. :D
