    Default Ghost Rider...any good?

Tried searching the forum but the computer is running SLOW. So is the new title any good? I like the GR character but have been hesitant to give it a shot. Would love to hear some opinions as to what you think of the title to help make my decision.

I love it, I think it's much better than the 90s series. GR is my favorite character so I'm a little biased, but I think you should def. check it out.

Issues #1-5 are great. The pacing off a bit but the art and story make up for it.

    SPOILERS...sort of

Sadly, issues #6 and #7 aren't that great. They basically show us how Ghost Rider got in hell in the first place but you're better off not knowing.

    END SPOILERS

Issue #8 came out yesterday which kicks off a new storyline so its probably a good starting point for new readers. Just be sure to collect the first five issue in the nice tpb.

I picked up issue 6 cos' they got me with the Corben art but it was so deadly dull I couldn't bring myself to buy 7, and even though they are resurrecting the awesome Jack O'Lantern in 8 even that cannot tempt me back. BTW loved the Dan Ketch GR never had much love for the John Blaze version but really did want to like it.

I told this to my friends: reading GR is like eating one of those rice-patty things. Sure it tastes good, but after you are done you think "did I even eat anything?" Same thing with ghost rider's new series. Its a fun read, but it seems like each issue lacks any real content.

I liked the first arc. But right now the story is getting confusing and the art is terrible. It really is some of the worst art I have ever seen. I'm going to stick with it. The idea of the comic is great. I just hope they fix things soon.
My favorite Charactures are : Moonknight, USAgent, Cloak and Dagger, Darkhawk, and She-Hulk
