Trailer for Tales of Symphonia Anime

So, anyone seen the recent trailer for the Tales of Symphonia Anime? Its based on the game for Gamecube (both Tales of Phantasia and Tales of Eternia also received adaptations into Anime--Crosses fingers for Tales of the Abyss now).

Anyway, more like Phantasia and less like Eternia--it looks like its going to follow the actual story of the game, though its only a 4 episode OVA. A high production OVA from the looks of it, which is really cool, but one can't help but be curiously excited about what they will include and exclude in order to tell the full story well in a two hour time.

The trailer appears to be of the first episode--we see Lloyyd, Collete, Kratos, Raine, and Genis so far.

A very brief trailer, so hard to say anything about it, but I must say; that music theme (the Op maybe?) is absolutely beautiful. You should watch the trailer just to listen to it.

From what I've heard, it's also following the default LloydxCollette pairing ending (hears the deranged roars of enraged Shelloyd fans everywhere). I feel for them.:( *shrugs* Oh well, thank god I'm flexible with either pairings.:D

And if they do make an anime continuation of Abyss, it sure as hell better be more than 4 episodes. Or at least made into a movie.

O kool i'd definitely check it out, i've played bout 4 hrs of TOS on GC and the storyline is pretty good

Well, after doing a little research I'm sorry to say that Lloyd, Collete, Kratos, Raine, and Genis may in fact be the only playable characters who appear in the anime. I just checked the 'Characters' page on the official website and it only has those 5.

Since they are telling the whole story in 4 episodes, I guess they decided to cut out a lot of things/people; though if the story still involves Sylvarant and Te'theala, you'd think they would have Te'Theala's Chosen Xellos and the summoner Sheena who was necessary to form the pacts.
