the DC site lists the next trade as containing only 6 issues of Carey's last 15 which I had hoped would be placed in a good sized collection together. Can't really bitch too much if they're splitting the book in half, but I wonder if it might just be a typo. Anyone know?
That's probably right. If I recall correctly, the final major storyline with Nergal's family and the First of the Fallen was Carey's longest at six issues. It was followed by a stand-alone issue with Frazier Irving featuring two characters who turn up in Denise Mina's run, and a two-parter with Constantine speaking at a convention of London's magic users. It would not make sense to split up the Nergal storyline, and if they printed it in the other trade, they'd be left with only three issues that are relatively unessential in terms of Carey's run.
