Really small week of actual stuff. Really huuuuge Wait for Trade list. Overall, a lot of stuff I really enjoy is coming out this week.

Checkmate #10 - Felt the Mirror Master two-issue story was a slump, but that this series has picked right back up.
Connor Hawke: Dragon's Blood #3 - Nothing like a Dixon action book to make me smile
Lucifer vol. 11: Evensong Tp - Pick of the Week! I started re-reading the whole series in anticipation of this.

Civil War: The Return - I ordered it, but I no longer remember what it is.
Criminal #4 - Would have been my Pick of the Week, if Lucifer hadn't come out
Marvel Romance Redux: Another Kind of Love TP - I couldn't help myself. :D
X-Factor vol. 2: Life and Death Matters HC - Yes!!! This one contains stuff I haven't read! Another potential Pick, too.

    Wait for Trade
    --------------
Samurai: Heaven & Earth vol. 2 - Loved the first mini, so I'll definitely get this when it comes out in TP
    100 Bullets - Of course
    Fables - See above ;)
Hellblazer - What is this?! The week of Eric's Favorite Vertigo Books? Waiting sucks sometimes.
Mystery in Space - This is a "Maybe"
    Robin
Invincible - Another title that hurts to wait for
Noble Causes - Accidentally packed the latest trade before reading it. Stoopid Eric.
True Story, Swear to God - I think switching to trade on this was a mistake on my part.
    Doctor Strange: The Oath
    Eternals
    - These are two series I am dying to read
Moon Knight - Going to read volume 1 tonight
Silent War - Was surprised by how good the Son of M trade was, so I'll definitely be getting this one.
Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane - Reading volume 2 tonight, before MK
X-Factor - I might switch back to monthly...
    Fallen Angel
Mouse Guard #6 - Incredible series! Can not wait for the hardcover.

    Notable mention:
    ----------------
Archenemies: Sinners & Saints TP-I was kinda disappointed with issue #1, but if I see this on a vendor's table at a con, I'll definitely give it a flip test.
Marvel Masterworks: Warlock HC - I soooooo want this, but too much $$$. Maybe if I pray really hard every day, they'll make an Essential Warlock

Big week for books last week, with a lot of my favorites. Spent a lot of cash, but it was worth it.

PREVIEWS VOL XVII #2 Already got a few things picked out from Dark Horse. Kind of intrigued by that issue of The Goon they say won't be reprinted.

    Dark Horse
    Criminal Macabre:Two Red Eyes #2:
    Scatching my horror itch.
Penny Arcade, Vol 3: Scracthing my comedy itch

    DC/Vertigo
    52, Week 38:
Read this one last night. Very emotional. Good stuff on Mad Scientist Island as well.
Checkmate #10: This was the other one I read last night. Very intriguing ending. Certainly one of the best DC books.
[b]DMZ #15:[b] Can't wait to read this one. Awesome book.
Fables #57: Which Vertigo book to read first? probably this one.

    Marvel
    Civil War:The Return:
Should be interesting. Flipped through at the store and spoiled who returns. Plus saw the variant cover which more spoils the return. Oh well.
Criminal #4: Will read this one tonight. Love the series.
Dr. Strange:The Oath #4: Will be sad when this one is over. great art and writing.
Eternals #6: Need to reread this series once it's all done. Good stuff, but a little weird. Love the JRJr art though.
Moon Knight #7: Still with Finch on art. Will have to see the new artist before I decide whether to stick with this or not.
Punisher War Journal #3: Read this one last night so I could reply to Augie's thread. I enjoyed it. I'll be the decenting voice and say I enjoy Oliveti's art.
X-Factor #15: the only X-book I read monthly. Cool looking cover design. can't wait to read this one as well.

I accidentally had it spoiled for me too. I never read the solicitation copy that carefully, so I was under the impression that this was Nova returning after the events of Annhilation. Imagine my surprise when that stupid music insert popped the book open for me and there was our Mr. Mystery Guest. D'oh!

I hardly consider it a surprise when you look at the cover and Joe Q has been outright saying he'd be coming back. And don't worry, there's like NO story other than what gets him to where he is at the moment.

Note - I can't wait until Monday to read the end of ANNIHILATION!!!
