My wish is that the World Security Council will make the Movieverse Thunderbolts as an "Avengers" team that they can control.
Finally saw it and loved it. My mother in law burst into a fit of laughter during the scene with Hulk & Loki.
Animal Man, Batman Inc, Constantine, Earth 2, Flash, Green Arrow, Green Lantern, Justice League, Justice League Dark, JLA, Saga, Swamp Thing, Supergirl and Superman.
I write comic book reviews every Wednesday using pages from each book. Check it: Is It Good?: All the Best Books of the Day Reviewed!
I loved the part where Stark is asking Hulk how he keeps the beast at bay and he asks something along the lines of, "Herbal tea, yoga, big bag of w##d?"
My Heroes For Hire: Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Misty Knight, Colleen Wing, The Falcon, Ant-Man (Scott Lang). White Tiger IV and Powerman would be interns.
Hands down, the greatest comic book movie I've ever seen. Simply epic.
My favorite parts:
Hulk vs. Loki (of course)
When Hulk punches Thor after they take down the flying alien-worm looking thing.
I've always been a Hulk fan (he is one of my favorites) so this was really a fan boy dream to see him shine on the screen. I've always been in the camp he could take Thor 1v1, so to see them fight was great. Especially since it was clear that Hulk had the upper hand before he got attacked by the fighter jet (I believe he had him over his head and was throwing him through a wall).
Then when he punched him towards the end, it was done in a playful, "big brother picking on his little brother" kind of way. Great stuff. I hope they continue this type of rapport in the sequels.
this was good and i thought everyone involved did a really wonderful job.
mark ruffalo and the hulk really stole the show for me. i didn't think it possible, but he gave us a great bruce banner, and hulk looked just amazing. i loved practically all of his scenes. they need to give him his own movie after this, he deserves a chance to redeem the hulk in a solo performance after this film.
I must say, this was the best Hulk they've put on film. Granted, that's not really hard. But still, seems they've finally figured it out. I actually enjoyed the Hulk in this, and I've never really been a fan of the character. No dislike, just disinterest. This kinda has me interested in the Hulk now. Still gonna avoid Rulk like the plague, if that's alright.
I enjoyed Hulk and Iron Man the most. I liked Thor a lot too.
oh, Loki. I liked seeing you get beaten up by Hulk. y u so puny?
You know what's weird? I think this is the first Marvel film where main the villain lived, or didn't seem to die. They just caught him, and locked him up.
I felt it quite ironic that, although most of the team members in the film aren't ones I'm very fond of in the comic (I'm a fan of The Vision, Ms. Marvel, Wonder Man & Beast, Scarlet Witch, Hank & Jan Pym). I was very pleased with the end result. EPIC!
something i did notice that was bothersome, but didn't impact my overall enjoyment:
1. why is the council asking fury where the avengers are? some of them i can understand, but isn't tony's identity public at this point? hello, just go ring his doorbell if you want to know where he is?
