it's because they have an Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Ant-Man movie planned that they're doing an Avengers movie.

for some reason that makes no sense to me.
are they gonna use the same actors for both movies?

Does this need to be toolarama spaming all the time; other sources for the news

Of course we all knew this was coming with Captain America, Thor, and other Avengers related characters at Paramount, and Iron Man pulled out, thanks God, from New Line and also with Paramount, even a blind man would have seen this coming miles away, nothing news about it to me really

The way I see it, after Iron Man, Captain America WW2 would be next, possibly followed by Avengers 1, followed by Thor 1 possibly seeking for is true identity and origin as in Avengers 1 he might not be sure of who he really is

    NO AVENGERS RIP OFF ULTIMATES

It all takes time. You can't just throw something on screen. The machine is too large to just do that. Marketting. Finding the right actor for the role, etc.

Sure, they have the ability to do it but you can't expect DC to be able to do it on command...

Exactly. Heck, it took over 10 years for the next Superman movie to actually be made.

Finding the right style, script, director, actors, production team, and budget for a Justice League film could be a nightmare.

I shouldn't take 10 years to come up with an occasional Superman movie, but with Smallville and cartoons, it's not like their ever was a lack of Superman going on, otherwise more Superman movies would have came much sooner

Justice League, no more a nightmare than X-Men or the Avengers in the next few years, It certainly wont take 10 years for the Avengers to get under way once the decision is made; personally I expect Avengers to hit theatres in possibly 3 to 4 years because Iron Man & Captain America might come first. As for Thor, Marvel should look at a way to continue his story from the first Avengers movie which would greatly benefit the character leaving he puzzled about his true identity, and possibly returning in the middle of Avengers 2 with that problem resolved with a solo movie in between and hopefully more to come

There is, I believe, an actual Thor movie already being made- we know who is writing and apparantly the writer wants to base it on the mystical side of Thor and make it a 'sweeping epic like Lord of the Rings'. Which sounds absoloutely awesome but might make it hard to jam him into the Avengers.

Marvel Films need to step back a little and look at the bigger picture and master plan Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, and Avengers so they all work well together and not have one movie contradict and undermine the others to come
