Captain America and Iron Man are a must I say. After that you have a lot of room to play around with. Though adding Thor would be cool as well, just for some straight up melee action (play that up a lot and the battle scenes alone will get a lot of return viewership I feel).

My assumption was thats why theyre doing all the other movies? If they release capt. , iron man, thor, ant-man...well there you go, half the cast is already introduced in the mainstream, dunno if that would clear up the legal issues though. I think, if they did the new avengers team, I'd piss myself at the fan reaction.

Colin Farrell- Iron Man (how many other hollywood stars can pull of a moustache???)

    Josh Holloway- Hawkeye

    Mena Suvari- Scarlet Witch

    Not sure about Quicksilver

    Not sure about Thor.

i was under the impression that this movie would follow the Ultimates continuity. that's going to be kind of tricky considering what they are (reportedly) doing with the Ant-Man movie. there was no sign of the Wasp being in the movie.

    James Marsters for Quicksilver.

Have no idea why that didn't cross my mind. I just assumed if they were introducing the characters seperately and probably before this makes it out, they'd go for what ever movie continuity they establish to make it easier on the public. Good point though.

Well the rest of the Marvel movies aren't following the Ultimate continuity but the 616. Also they are heavyly promoting the Civil War which is 616. So naturally an Avengers film would be 616 as well. Especailly with the other movies coming out. They wouldn't want to confuse the movie goers by having the same characaters but in different continuities in different live action films. Don't see that happening.

    Inspired casting!

I'd love to still see Tom Cruise as Iron Man. He's got the looks, can play a guy with boatloads of cash, and wanted the part at one point. His looks and attitude would be perfect for Tony.

    And HULK HOGAN FOR THOR!!!!
