Avengers Movie *Spoilers*

Colin Farrell- IronMan/Tony Stark- he's got the playboy/party guy thing down.

WWE's Edge- Thor- Try and tell me he wouldn't make a good Thor

Ryan Renolds- Captain America- He played the straight man in Amityville, he's built, and he's a pretty boy, and he's in his late 20's.

Sean Williams Scott- Hawkeye- Think of him in Bulletproof Monk.

Ray Park- Quicksilver- I just think these two actually look alike

Naomi Watts- Scarlett Witch- I would steer clear of the incest side of the Qsilver/Switch relationship and instead make Scarlett a little older than Quicksilver and make her almost a mother figure to him, then he still get's to act all protective of her but now it seems more like he's protecting his mother

Solei Moon-Frye- Wasp- Again, I just think she looks like what I would invision the wasp to look like... and she's hot.

Justin Bartha- Hank Pym- He has that nerdy appearance that Pym would need, but not too nerdy.

I'm sure someone will hate them but these are my choices.

Great casting... but this part. Watts is in her early 30's and looks younger... so for her to be motherlike to Quicksilver he'd have to be 10.

That or age Watts... but that would be a crime.

I don't understand this. Each of the Lord of the Rings movies were made for 100 million each, and they were literally building an entire world from the ground up. What about the Star Wars movies?

What's so spectacularly insane in The Avengers that wouldn't translate to screen unless it had an impossible budget?

Thanks for the compliment, I guess I should have specified how I meant that. I still think they should be brother and sister, just more like sue, and johnny from the ff as opposed to the wierd incest thing the two normally have going on.

I agree on the Actor/wrestler thing, but finding an actor that sized is a bit of a conundrum. Plus IMO Edge really looks like Thor. No he's not as big as HHH or Hogan but he's still huge compared to normal people, and he looks the part in the face especially... if only he can act.

Finding an actor who can play his part is far more important that finding a big enough physically to play him.

Superman, who is massive stacked in the comics, almost looks wussy in the movies, yet is able to kick so much ass. Batman, who is also massively built, worked well as a hard bult but not bulky here in Batman Begins.

Muscles can be built in. Acting ability cannot be.

Special Effects aren't like they were in the 80's when the part of Conan had to be played by Arnold because muscles could not be added the way they can be these days.

The LOTR was filmed in New Zealand, where the cost of film-making (labour, rate-of-exchange, tax concessions, etc.) is much lower than in Hollywood/America. That helped a lot. If they can film Avengers in Wellywood, and get a minimum $165 M budget, then I say go for it. If not, leave it alone - I'd rather see Captain America & Thor movies before an Avengers film. Besides, just because they're writing the movie doesn't actually mean it's going to happen. Heck, look how long John Singleton has been attached to the Luke Cage film.

Its most likely going to be: Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Ant-Man and Wasp not only because they were all original Avengers but Marvel Entertainment is making all four movies before Avengers would come out. Nick Fury may make an appearance as well.
