Yeah I hear SB/DB's complaint, and if it didn't work for him it didn't work for him, (though perhaps a re-read is in order? see how you feel about it after the fact?) but It did work for me.

It was still anti-climatic.
Something that Bendis is continually doing, not giving a good climax/resolution.

I'm going to see it with my LCS. Our theater will be nothing but comic book readers. So I know what to expect, and I'm cool with that because I'll be surrounded by people that "get it".

So far, it sounds pretty epic. Especially when a big bad __________ is involved.

On another note Joss talked about the length of the movie:

I think he's kinda forced by the Power That Be to end every event on a big, fat To Be Continued.

But hes not, hes fighting THor for like 3 issues, Thor! Thor! I know, you probably hadn't really seen Thor at that point so the impact might of been loss but hes Thor.

And it takes the combined power of ALL of the heroes to fight him and they loose, then Loki realizing what hes unleashed teams up with his brother and his friends. The Sons of Odins united again! and empowers earth's heroes with the mystical norn stones, which still does not defeat him, Loki dies doing this.

After all of that Iron Man uses the helicarrier as a Missile, hitting him with the force of an atom bomb or so, and THIS doesn't even stop him, but it brings Bob back to his senses long enough to supress the void and ask for someone to kill him.

As he begins to transform back Thor, the son of Odin summons his most powerful blast and does what few of the other heroes would of if they could, Kills his friend (even if their friendship is all retconned in nonsense). He then disposes of his body in the sun.

The end of Siege made perfect sense. The heroes could not stop him and only "died" when he wanted to be "killed".

IMO, Siege was better than Secret Invasion. It was short and to the point.

yea...but I would rather not, personally I have no use for either of them....as far as the Avengers roster goes....there are plenty others who should be getting screen time before them...namely Warbird (Ms Marvel)
