Default Marvel Adventures Avengers #9 *Spoilers*

...or MODOC, anyway (can't have "killing" for the kiddies).

If you haven't picked up this issue -- it's hilarious. Leaky hideouts, CAPDOC, HULKDOC, a giant-head contest, "multiplied arachnid sense," and my new favorite Marvel villain -- Karl the A.I.M. stooge.

    Check it out!

Just Like I've always said (and by "always" I mean "never") You can never have enough MODOK.

    I believe it's "conquest".

Ah, MODOK. I'm looking forward to seeing this one. I long for the glorious future when we are all MODOKs.

It's sort of ironic, since I've decided to drop the series.

This was my first issue of MA Avengers and I have to say I liked it a lot.

If you can't find the first four issues of the MA Avengers, look for the back-pack edition. The full color collection runs around $7 or a little less. It's a nice way to pick up the Series.:D

Also, other collections include the Power Pack and Avengers and also Power Pack and the X-Men.

The sad thing is that many people dont know how great this book is. One of my comic stores I shop at only bothered ordering one issue of this.
Hi, my name is Peter Parker and I make satanic pacts with demons. .I shall not buy Amazing Spider-Man until the marriage returns. Be a part of the movement.

It is a great break from the depressing bogged down current continuity books. The books are decent quality with humorous dialog. I would have to say these books tend to resemble what the old school super hero books were all about. Also check out Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man. Either get the back issues or you can go and purchase the digests. Definitely worth every cent.

Fantastic!! I loved everything about it - from the self contained storyline, to the dialogue, and most importantly, the MODOCS! I hope they make figures for the M.O.D.Avengers (and I'm well past collecting figures).

The creators on these series are lucky that they get the freedom to play around with the most fun, inventive and weird concepts in the MU without worrying about tie-ins or continuity or whatnot.

I saw this cover and said to myself, "You've got to be kidding me... NO WAY would I ever buy this..."
But now, after a few positive raves, I'm going to go to my LCBS and check it out...that is, if they have laid in enough copies to have any left on the shelf three days after delivery day!

Is it REALLY that good a story?

See, if the cover didn't make you smile and think "AWESOME!", maybe you just won't like it?

Exactly. If the cover doesn't work for you, the innards probably won't either.

It really is an awesome comic, though. Karl is my new favorite villain, too. Parker needs to bring him into the regular MU.
