    Default Siegfried/Sigurd vs Achilles

The hero of Nibelungenlied takes on Achilles; his invincible-except-for-the-heel incarnation, that is. Which invincible warrior takes it?

Achilel got wha the got due to his mommy.

Sigurd/Siegfried EARN his invinciblity via bathing in Dragon Blood.

While Achilles, fough tonly humans 9Hector was one damn good challenge.)

So yeah, I honestly go with Sigurd/Siegfried,a s he is that bad ass.

Well, since I don't actually know too much about non-Iliad versions of Achilles, maybe make this an amalgamated one. Iliad Achilles did wrestle a river.

But yes, I tend to agree with you. Sigfried was baddass. He could toss boulders around and wield a spear that took ten men to lift, as I recall.

Well, Achilles does have one thing going for him: His weak spot is in a much harder to hit place. Not that Siegfried's is all that accessible either, but it's definitely in a worse spot (for Siggy, that is).
