Yeah, sorta...

I guess, for my taste, at the time, it felt more like bashing Frank than poking a little fun at a comic book. Which is quite different in my mind. It wasn't you in specific, more the mob mentality and the lengths people went to.

I've made fun of comics I like... and comics I don't like. But, you'll never catch me making fun of or otherwise bad mouthing a creator. Even Judd.

I don't like Grant's run on Batman, but I've not talked shit about Grant.

Also, at this point, do to the delays, ASB&R has just become a joke. Whatever Frank is going for here will not be seen for some time.

But, I do love that GDB line. Comedy gold! I mean, look at my screen name.;)

That's the truth. People can call it satire if they have to, they can say it's an insult to Batman, they can say it's trash...whatever. When Batman asked Dick if he was retarded and slapped him, I knew I would buy every issue of this series and read it the second I got home.

I don't wanna start the whole debate, again, (Long time lurker, new poster) but I bought 1-4 and loved it. I just don't see how some people can call it a tragedy, an abortion, a disaster, etc. Jim Lee's best art ever IMHO.

Sean has done a great job sending up ASB, which is exactly what needs to be done to it. I can't bring myself to hate the silly little book; that's like being angry at a comedian for telling a stinker. Sure, it's annoying, but it's going to happen one way or the other, eventually. Better to laugh it off than obsess, right?
