Yeah, Rhodes has been appearing as a member of the O*N*E for quite some time.

I'll wait to see before I believe he's back in action in the old armor.

I know. This is just the seemingly first reappearance of the classic armor not in a Sentinel-size.

Just remember, covers have notoriously little to do with the actual contents.

For one, Captain Britian is showcased on that cover, and he certainly isn't part of the Avengers: Initiative.

But yeah, Rhodey has been confirmed as appearing in Slott's The Initiative mini.

It was a cool move to have Rhodey as head of the Sentinel Squad One team but I'm very excited to see him back as War Machine. The suit looks updated as well (perhaps the armor uses advanced Sentinel tech) but it better have some crazy ass guns coming out because otherwise it's not the goddamn War Machine.

Glad to see him back as War Machine. Here's hoping the Young Avengers are indeed in the Initative and Jim gets to go all drill sargent on them.

That would be interesting seeing as how Ms. Marvel is training Arana. I see her and Rhodey being ideal to mold future heroes given their military backgrounds and experience.
