Catwoman #61:The Conception of Helena

OK, so I just got done reading Catwoman 61 and I have a question:

Does the conception story fly in the face of the original story of how & when CW and Sam hooked up? Is it an attempt by the writer at a 'do-over' or a retcon of the bad porn dialogue of the previous story? Or is it bad editorial, that they didn't catch the writer's trip up?

In the original story, they hooked up in her apartment prior to the final showdown with Black Mask, with the "We're both adults," line. In the 'new' version, they hooked up on a rooftop after putting some of Black Mask's flunkies out of commission while on an apparent adrenaline high.

Which is right?

I agree it's very sloppy story telling. I liked the first version the best.
