That's the date the film was added onto the sites catalouge, not necessarily the time the film itself was made.

Saw it a long time ago. It was impressive. There's a World's Finest fan made trailer out there that's really good. That one's done by the same guys that did Batman: Dead End.

That was good too. Whoever makes these have great talents.

Alright then. Anybody who hasn't seen it, there it is.

I liked Grayson a lot more than the other popular fan films. Besides the "gee whiz" factor they all have, Grayson is the only one I've seen that looks like it would be a really great story, as a movie or a comic.

Agreed. Also, despite being a tad long, it's probably the only "fan trailer" I've ever seen that actually looks like it could be a real advertisement-- Most amateur filmmakers couldn't edit a professional-looking trailer if their lives depended on it.

Niether could most profesionals prior to the 90's, you seen the trailers for Rocky or star wars? You don't even need to watch the movies after seeing the trailers.

That's the first time I've seen this, I thought it was real for a second there. It looks good, but it falls into the same pitfall as the previous two movie trailers mentioed. It tries to have an engaging narrative instead of basically being an advert for a moive. The best ads are simple, same with trailers. Looks like it would have made a good movie though.

    :)

That holds true even today. Does anyone in the world actually not know how The Holiday or A Good Year ends after seeing the trailers?

My favorite part of Grayson is still Robin trying to punch Superman on the beach. So good.

I loved that Batgirl came back, but the whole idea of her being a soccer mom to Dick in the begining bothered me. Babs always seemed more focused and decisive than Dick. I think she would be quicker to take up crime fighting again than he would.

I think Grayson is better than most DC Fan films, but toward the end, it tends to get ruined by the fact that they tried to jam too many--and unnecessary--DC characters in the damn thing. Having Superman was good enough, then we're treated to a cheesy-looking Batgirl and Green Lantern, and others.

This is a pet peeve of mine among comic fan films. The cramming of every single character into one film. What's wrong with simplicity?

Eh. Don't really care for the story. Interesting What If / Elseworld concept, but I don't see why someone would make a film out of it. It's like a weird mix of the old 60s Batman with Dark Knight Returns.

Still, the production values and the filming itself look fantastic. Amazing job. Just not my cup of tea.

Also, yeah, this is an old video. It's just someone posted it on this yahoo site recently. Though I gotta say thanks because I still hadn't seen it until today. Now I know why everyone talks about it.
