Boy, is it a snooze - plot movement that would take two panels takes a whole book.

I've not bought it, you wanna do a summary?
basically we backtrack to the Squadron Supremes alt. earth where Ultimate Reed's interdimensional probe brought with it some kind of alien lifeform that is ravaging their earth. The White House is being eaten by giant green blobs. hmmm...
anyways the squadron supreme backtrack the signal to Ultimate Earth, explain the situation to Reed and crew and he decides that he'll return with them and face up to what he's done. The SS and Reed dissappear and Sue cries. Nick Furys prepares a rescue team comprised of most of our Ultimate heroes and swears to bring back Reed.
Thats it.
And yes, while you could have condensed these last 3 issues into one, I still liked it.
what do you expext? this is bendis writing after all
Lame how Hyperion went from "You destroyed our world!" in the previous issue to..."You could've destroyed our world!"
As with Kitty Pryde in the previous issue, #3 features a panel where Zarda has an expression on her face that does not at all match what she's saying, leading to the suspicion that it's been traced. On the other hand, this is Zarda, who's canonically got very odd emotional reactions.
Issue 3 was much, much better than the mess that was issue 2. Bendis is excels at set-ups, so he's the right choice fo r4the first third of the title, but the big fight of issue 2 seemed forced, somehow.
booorring! i'm a huge fan of the squadron characters but they were only window dressing in this non-story. didn't expect to be saying this but i'm not picking up the next issue.
This 3 issues could have been one. And even in one, it would still be bad.
That's right! Al Gore invented the internet, let's all go kick his ass!
I got your inconvenient truth right here, motherf*&¨%!

IMHO, wait for the TPB, buy a cup of coffee and read it in Borders.
I'll be buying this one later here tonight, then I'll make my judgement on it.

Well this is the last issue with Bendis writing it I think. After this it gets handed to JMS, I think. So I'm hoping that he'll give the Squadron guys some focus and actually put them at their real power levels instead of this insane jobbing they've been doing in these last three issues.
does anyone know when miller will be taking over?
