Anyone know whether there are plans to include Bette Kane / Flamebird from the Teen Titans (also formerly known as Bat-Girl) as part of Kathy (I refuse to call her Kate) Kane's family? In passing, Bette has made references to her Aunt Kathy and I thought it would be a nice little touch on continuity.

My opinion is that Kathy Kane was a different person and still very dead. It's just less of a continuity headache to keep it that way. Kate Kane is someone else altogether, and may very well be related to Flamebird, but does not normally call herself Kathy.

My guess is that they were originally going to use Bette (after "Titans Tomorrow") but at the last minute she was replaced by Kathy.

I doubt the new Batwoman is Flamebird's aunt, myself. And yes, like Damo I'm still assuming there was another Kathy Kane that got herself killed by a brainwashed Bronze Tiger.
