first of all. do NOT call me sweety. secondly, i did work for you, you owe me. period. I am not signing your stupid nda. You just dont want me to say all that I know. My column premieres monday jan 1st. Do you really want to mess with me right now?
Oh and before you call the lawyer on me.. the number one defense to libel is TRUTH and all I will say is truth and can be backed up.
And the rest of you? Keep him talking here. He is under orders from his lawyer NOT to respond directly to the "phlebs" like he is now. he is f'ing himself up the more he talks here.
See Rick, you don't get it. Or rather refuse to.
Stop hiding behind your hack attorney.
Can you answer these questions without using fake legal talk?
Would you pay Ronee in a specified amount of time if she has done all that you asked, all that you've already stated as being required for payment?
Would you put all that in writing and be legally bound by it?
If you were a man of honor and integrity you wouldn't need an attorney to answer those questions.
Let me give you an example of how it works with people of honor.
I personally just hired an artist to work on a project for me. His name is Ryan Cody. Very talented guy. Ryan and I set out the parameters of our agreement...I'd pay him X for Y amount of work. We worked this out via e-mail.
Upfront I sent Ryan a check for half of the agreed upon amount. Along with the check I sent out a legally binding contract restating what we already agreed upon. And some free comics because I'm a nice guy.
Ryan sent me back the signed contract. And free comics because Ryan's a nice guy too.
Signed contract or not, Ryan would be paid everything owed to him when all the work is complete. I wouldn't being paying him because he could possibly file suit over breach of contract. I gave my word to him. That's why he'd be paid.
So what is your word worth Rick? Is it only as good as what your lawyer advises can be legally upheld?

Rick, you're one of the most dishonest and dimmest people I've ever met.
Here you go.
"If "Gail Simone" is your template for judging character, so be it! Far be it of me to try and point out the many lies that she's started and spread here. I will share with you all that she's all wet about the car trip she say's she took. That wasn't my car. It belonged to Dennis Kininger. Dennis drove "Gail" and "Scott" back to the airport/hotel area of Syracuse. I actually rode in another car. But "Gail" is free to remember it as she does. "
Rick, three times recently you've told me you have a memory condition. I think it's the one that allows you to screw close friends. What you don't remember is the ride we DID take in your car from the 'convention,' apparently.
It was yours. And it reeked, as did you.
"Just like she doesn't care about the mythic $100 dollars that was owed her. She was only "owed" for the monies she and her husband spent on food that late evening. We told her to send us the receipts for reimbursement and she had no problem with that then... So she gets home, and emails me that we owe her $100 dollars and then hems and haws about sending the receipts."
Really?
Produce that email, liar. It's a lie. YOU came up with the 100$ figure, you incredible IDIOT. It's not my fault if you can't keep your lies straight.
Jesus, what a loser.
YOU came up with the 100 number, to 'make up for all the inconvenience.'
The dinner thing was because your credit card got turned down when you tried to book us the room you forgot to book.
YOU.
Most liars at least can keep their lies straight, but not our Mr. Olney!
"No receipts, no reimbursement. Again, simple as that. And yet ... she has hated and stalked me since that time, obviously. First its about the money ... then it isn't. Which is it "Gail"?"
It never was, moron. It was the lies. Do you not get it?
It was your lies. I told you dealing with you wasn't worth getting the money YOU said you owed, after two years of your bullshit.
" You have people emailing you climing to be OWED by me? POST their feckin' names. You have emails from back during that time? Post them! Put up or shut up. Frankly, it isn't that you're tired of this matter -- I think you finally got your legal counseling and KNOW that you might've let your mouth write a check your arse can't cover. But we'll see..."
Nope. Sorry, liar.
I'll post what I want, when I want. You will, of course, continue to be a lying deadbeat.
And I've got TONS, Rick. Including worse accusations that owing money, but I'll leave that to the accuser.
You're a liar, a deadbeat, a cheat, and a bizarre paranoid. You are your own punishment.

Hey Gail,
I almost forgot ... your $100 dollars should mail right after I get
back from MegaCon. Didn't want you thinking I had forgotten.
Best Regards,
--Rick
Your credibility is woeful at best, Olney.

If anyone wants to have that message forwarded, to prove when it came to my yahoo account, they have but to ask.
Note the liar says he owes the money and is planning to send it.
He's confused about the reciepts. The 100 was a number HE HIMSELF came up with after stiffing me on the reimbursements for my out of pocket expenses for months.
He wouldn't know the truth if it fell on his head. The worst liar I've met in this industry, period.
