    Talking It's 'Disassembled', NOT 'Dissembled'...

Like the X-Men's 'Rogue'/'Rouge', it seems we have our own common misspellings, misnomers, and misunderstandings.

    What are some you've noticed?

WARNING: And by misnomers and misunderstandings I mean things posters misunderstand about characters or plots. Not creators.

Magento? Someone who controls purple things?

THANK YOU!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THANK YOU!!!

Oh, and since I'm in this thread: Phoenix/Pheonix. A whole lot of people are probably going to say: "You hypocrite. You spelled it wrong in your username!" Yup, that's intentional. Don't ask me why, it just is. ;)

i noticed that a lot of comic book professionals misuse the word 'lie.' ex. "the fault lie in the blah blah yakkety smackety."

What about people who don't know the difference between "effect" and "affect" or use "could of" instead of "could have." Yeesh...

I fear that someday the English language is going to surrender to the masses and allow "rouge" as an alternate spelling of "rogue."

I think the make-up industry might stop that.

    They hold all the power.

I hate people who think they have a good 'arguement' in saying that 'Apocolypse' is a great character. The same people are usually 'Pheonix' fanboys, as well. These people have probably never heard of 'Galactis', either.

There/Their/They're seems to be a tough concept too.
The world is full of bad spellers but as much as I wanna bitch slap someone for it, we all have faults. :(

I would like someone... just once... to figure out that the magical JLA girl in the fishnets is Zatanna.

Not ZANtanna, who's presumably a magical guitar-playing Latino.

Good point, but Iron Man's one of the non-hyphenated ones. :)

Anyone else have any more specific to the Avengers?
