Default Joker and the Creeper (Spoilers)

In the most recent issue of the Creeper mini, Joker pops up in the beginning and the end. The Clown Prince of Crime seems to, somehow, now be tied into Creeper's origin in some manner. Batman is now more interested in him as well.

I'm wondering, since I didn't read much creeper after the last series got really weird, if Joker and Batman have been a part of his origin before?

This mini has been pretty good and it's nice to see some major DC players involved in it as a side note.

Joker was a major factor in Creeper's origin in the animated DCU at least.

I never saw the animated Creeper. In The Creeper's comic book origin, though, no. Jack got his powers from a machine Dr. Yatz implanted in him to keep him from dying, which forced him to heal faster while triggering The Creeper persona. His powers coming from an injection are new, as is The Joker's involvement in it.
    Go !@#$ yourself.

I knew that one actually. I wonder since perhaps more people know that Batman as Batman, if they're changing things along those lines?
