Sadly, due to Doug's wrap date on FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER being put back (again) he won't be home in time to attend the Dark Delicacies signing, which will now be re-scheduled. I'll get a date for that as soon as I can. And he obviously won't make the PAN premiere in L.A. on the 18th, either. Sigh.
However, he should be at a midnight screening of PAN'S LABYRINTH at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood on the 28th, where he'll introduce the film and spend some time signing stuff. Hope some of you can go along.

I recently worked on the direct-to-DVD Dukes of Hazzard 2 and saw that Doug makes an appearance as a redneck oogling Daisy Duke. It was a nice surprise. :)
He does get around, doesn't he? I remember I was watching an old episode of CSI and there was Doug, playing poker in the opening scene.

I actually saw that a month or so ago. Freaky.
And ahhhhhhhhh no, I hope 'Pan's Labyrinth' will be playing here. I know my local AMC has that 'AMC Select' thing for the artiser movies... I dun' wanna drive to the only art house theater clear across town for it. Wah! D=

For folks in Vancouver:
There's an advance screening of PAN'S LABYRINTH in Vancouver tomorrow night, Wednesday 13th at 7 PM at Fifth Avenue Cinemas (Burrard St @ 5th Ave).
There is a good chance Doug will be there for a Q & A afterwards (although be warned that there is a small - and I mean small - chance that his filming schedule with FF:RotSS could interfere). But he has everything crossed that he can make it.

Oh, and before I forget, he got Fox to juggle his schedule so that he CAN make the Los Angeles premiere of PAN on December 18th! He's flying in from Vancouver and going straight from the airport to the premiere, and then back again to Vancouver in the early hours of the next morning. Gotta love that man. :D
