The best tv commercial of all time is the PBS promo about the beloved goldfish going up the waterfall.
DIRECTLY ON THE FOREHEAD!
They did another commercial later, where it starts with that, then a guy walks out, says it three more times, followed by
"I hate you commercial, but i love your product!"
If he hates it and that's the point, why do they make you watch it again?
Nothing's gonna happen without a warning
One of my faves at the moment is Frank's RedHot ("I put that $#!+ on everything!"), makes me laugh every time.
One that makes me want to do physical harm to all my senses just to avoid it is Boston Pizza's Wing Critique by Carl
Honorable mention goes to Valerie Bertinelli shilling for Cindy Crawford shilling for Dr. Jean-Louis Sabagh's "Meaningful Beauty". This is made worse by the frequency that I see it, and that it's usually in the same rotation as the Boston Pizza ad I just mentioned.

Best commercials!
And I would do anything for love...... but I won't do that!
Like Mike.... if I could be like Mike!
As for worst..... well.... I tend not to remember those.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16
Let me see.....most of the good horrible ones have been mentioned....the car insurance.....the cell phones.....
But we missed a good horrible one this Christmas season.
Women being total bags of douche towards Santa.
"Game on Santa" and all that stupid jazz.
WHAT THE FUCK DID SANTA DO TO YOU WOMEN? TRY TO MAKE THE WORLD A SLIGHTLY LESS SHITTY PLACE FOR A SINGLE DAY?
............Makes me wish one of the horror movie Santa's would show up.

Transient just likes to do that.
Why he keeps picking up ridiculous arguments and then try to defend them, I will never know.
I can't stand the radio Netflix commercials that are like a game show. I can't stand those.
"Being a father is a lot like being the least powerful Vice President in history." - Jim Gaffigan
That woman is a prime example of a jerkass sue given that Santa never got any payback against her. One of the few moments where I wanted to root for Santa.
Starting to despise the Geico Commercials involving the Pig. Reminds me of one of those jokes that was funny the first time used but gets tiring after being used alot.

"It isn't jumping the shark if you never come back down." Chuck
U.K. anti-drink driving ad from the 1990's featuring Dennis Leary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5JClvSNOU0
I remember that this advert used to air between 2 and 6 a.m. (due to the swearing) but it was really popular.![]()

I like the Allstate Commercials featuring that guy who used to be on Oz
"It isn't jumping the shark if you never come back down." Chuck
Sounds like they're following trends made popular by lowbrow sitcoms.
That's probably my favorite too. I love how they never show him react/move his eyes to the phone, you only hear his reaction.
I like some of the side characters, though, like the guy who violates company policy and the guy wondering how to post videos to Facebook.
I guess since they're aware so many people get annoyed with their commercials, they feel like they should use that (but they'd have to split the difference and still keep the repetitive phrase).
I liked those at first, but then it got to be ridiculous and Ethel started putting Frank's RedHot on things that sound DISGUSTING.
Love Animation/Comics? Have a soft spot for Villains? Then, check out and like "A Day Of Havoc" @ http://www.facebook.com/pages/A-Day-...21994394485358
PSYCHOLOGY LESSON BITCHES:
So, the reason why these companies make commercials with these "memorably annoying" characters is due to a condition where after a little while you only have the "memorable" part of the commercial in your head.
You start to forget what was so annoying about the product which in turn means you're only left with the product on your mind and what's on your mind leads to better impulse purchases.
So yeah, they make them annoying on purpose.
