What's your favorite student-teacher romance anime/manga

My favorite Student-teacher romance anime has to be I My Me Strawberry Eggs!

They are such a wonderful pair. A long-haired, feminine guy and short-haired tomboyish girl. What an interesting combination. :P

I wish the anime would be at least 26 episodes so their relationship will be explored and deepened in no time. Hibiki is a real teacher who cared a lot for his students, and he never tried to make any advances with his female students nor took advantage of their vulnerabilities, although in Fuuko's case, Hibiki made a great deal of effort holding back his feelings for Fuuko. [spoiler]He tried to kiss Fuuko at least twice and would probably succeeded if he wasn't interrupted by Akira or the landlady. [/spoiler] But that was his honest feelings, not lust and he was trying to deny his feelings to the point of lying to himself but in the end, he gradually realized he liked Fuuko, even though he knew it was wrong. At least He cared for Fuuko enough that he encouraged her to try her best. Encouraging/inspiring/motivating young people to think independently and do their best on their own terms is what a true teacher is about.


My favorite student-teacher romance manga is Kodomo no Jikan. It is about a 23-year old male teacher who teaches a a third grade class where three extraordinarily unusual girls attend. One of these three third grader girls has a liking to the teacher. For a third grader, she is very boldly interested in a 23-year old guy like him.

I would have to say Faster Than a Kiss is my favorite. This manga is about a girl and younger brother who have to live on their own after their parents die and relatives don't take them in. Her teacher finds them in a park and somehow the girl and her teacher end up married. The deal is that the teacher will take care of the girl and her brother if the girl welcomes him home with some interesting outfits.

It's definitely a must read.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei makes a close second place. And yeah, it's as truly romantic as Animaniacs, I know. Still awesome.

Yeah, I read Faster Than a Kiss. I thought it was a cute and funny manga.

Me too! Faster than a Kiss is the best! ;D I really love the story of Kazuma and Fumino.. :3 But I really REALLY hope chapter 56 would come out soon... T.T
