    Question Games for girls

Looking through my parade of PS2 and Dreamcast games, I realised that ... I donīt have a single game aimed at my 6 and 7 years old nieces.

I introduced them to Space Channel 5 and they loved but canīt seem to be able to pass level $%%# ONE!
That game has proven itself a challenge to ME, let alone someone with their hand-eye coordination.

Itīs kinda early to initiate them on the joys of Silent Hill, Resident Evil or Fatal Frame, so I thought I should ask around:

Which games do you know of that could appeal to two kids in that age?

Heh, the first thing I was going to suggest was Space Channel 5.

Is it part 1 or part 2? Part 2 is easier because it's more polished.

Have you tried having one of them tap out the beat while the other plays?

My niece and girlfriend both love Katamari Damacy, and while it is challenging at first it's a game that takes practice more than coordination.

I thought girls only played games like the sims, solitaire, bejewled and Tetris.

Or am I thinking about middle aged ladies?

Try Tony Hawk Pro Skater, Katamari Demacy, Super Bust A Move or Parapa The Rappa. The Teen Titans Game is probly what your looking for. My nieces when they were that age liked Bloody Roar 3, Twisted Metal and Time Splitters. Now that thier older they prefer Grand Theft Auto, Need For Speed and Guitar Hero.

Games made specificly for girls are Barbi Horse Adventure, Mary Kate and Ashly mall Adventure, Sponge Bob Square Pants Or That's So Raven game. Those might insult the intelligence of even a 6 or 7 year old.:D

I'd like to second the suggestion made by Generic Eric in the Barbi Wild Horse Rescue game. My daughter really enjoyed it. My daughter who is 9 recently has enjoyed playing the Barnyard game also.

Any of the Nintendo titles with Mario or Zelda should be winners, especially the party or racing games.

Okay, before this thread this is what I knew about Tish, zip, zero, nada.
I now know that Tish is a heavily armed, black, bi-sexual, truck driving woman who likes going to the clubs.

I'm begining to like Tish more and more, that's what I know. - cable guy

Guitar Hero 2. They can play together if you get 2 controllers, and it has an easy mode. Everyone loves that game.

Otherwise, Katamari Damacy is fun too, or anything by Nintendo.

Sure, just as soon as they start making those for PS2 or Dreamcast I bet he'll be all over them.
