Default Justice League, The Stone King

I finished reading this last week and was impressed. I would rate this one of the best stories, if not the best story, I have ever read. The Big 6 take on an immensely powerful foe while they each use their specific abiities in specific ways to bring down the Stone King. Written by Alan Grant. Has anyone read it?

Yep, thought it was ok, but liked others in that series better.

Agree with bluetyson. Iread this novel a few years ago and though it is well written. I would consider it well written comic book novel, not anything that would mark it above any well written fantasy novel. The characters were basically the same with no real insights into them. It just played out like in the comic books; where we have a big bad baddie and the heroes save the day. Nothing special, but well executed nonetheless.

    You have unbelievably low standards.

For me, the book was a fun diversion, but not much else. There are better books in the JLA series.

I've read a couple of the Justice League novels, including this one, and I thought they were both kind of crummy.

I think the start of the Flash book was pretty dodgy, but it improved quite a lot, so much so that I enjoyed it. 'cryptospeedsters'. :)

I read this book a while back and did enjoy. Wouldn't call it a major work of fiction, but it was an enjoyable read for me.
