    Default Gaming Regrets

Do you ever look back and regret doing or not doing something pertaining to games? I don't mean buying a horrible game, I mean selling a great game, missing out on buying a good game, etc...

I sold alot of my PS games, mostly RPGs, and now I sorta miss them now.

There are a number of SNES games that I rented or borrowed back in the day that I wish I had bought because they're now hard to find - Soulblazer is probably the top of that list, with Actraiser not far behind.

    Selling Castlevania:SOTN...twice.

Its one of those things were the memories of it are a lot fonder than they probably should be. I recently bought Ducktales on DVD (an absolute favorite of mine as a kid) and found it didn't live up to the hype. But I always find myself wishing I kept that one around.

Earlier this year I sold Saga Frontier, Jade Cocoon, Threads of Fate and a few other PS1 RPG games for next to nothing and now I wish I still had them.

Though I am proud to report that my SNES copy of Earthbound is still safe and sound :)

I regret not hitting Blockbuster and Hollywood years ago to buy all their dirt cheap used PS1 games that now go for a lot of money on eBay. And I wish I could get back into RPG games. I have fond memories of my friend and I playing Earthbound or Grandia or FFVII back in the day. But none of my current friends like RPGs and I’m too addicted to my FPS games to fire up the PS2 nowadays :D

Not buying the original Disgaea. I pass on it at first but after hearing how great it was and the cult following it developed I had to own. Sadly by that time the game was out of print and very hard to find. I never got to buy it :(

I regret selling Space Station Silicon Valley for N64. It was a good muck around game, and I got jack all money for it.

I was in an EBGames earlier today renewing my Game Informer subscription, and they had Disgaea on sale for 70 bucks. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I'm still planning on stealing my friend's copy.

My gaming regret is selling my NES and all its games back in the day when my brother and I upgraded to a Genesis. I'd kill to have that back now. Emulation just isn't the same as playing with those sharp cornered rectangles of death.

I thought they had a second and third printing so the game was available for all to have.

Seconded on emulation. There's just nothing like a controller and an old console hooked up to the big sceen :) But I'd go broke if I paid for hard copies of all the old games I want.

My only regret is not being keeping my Snes and Playstaion 1 and 2 rpgs in good shape. I have every rpg, good and bad, that been released and they all work good, but they are scratched so I can't sell any of them on Ebay.

Count me among the people who waited too long to check out Disgaea and now regret it...

I hear differing opinions on Disgaea 2. Some say it's a poor substitute for the original; some say it has essentially the same gameplay so it's worth playing.

I kind of regret not getting City of Heroes earlier, but it wasn't economically or technologically feasible for me at that time, so it's not a big one.

Not keeping the boxes for my games and stuff. It wasnt till genesis came out I started keeping the boxes for games. So Ive got 250-300 super nintendo and nes games with no boxes. Kick myself in the ass everytime I see those games.
