One of these years I'm going to head down there for Thanksgiving. My sister in Denver's dental practice shut down yesterday at 1pm and isn't open again until Monday. It's a real foreign concept to me that Thanksgiving is a bigger holiday in the States than Christmas, but kudos for doing that!

Have some turkey and enjoy the football for me guy.

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to all us Yanks! Hope your turkey wasn't dried out and the green bean casserole was super yummy!

If we are talking comics, then I'm very thankful this year knowing that we'll get a 110 issue run from Bendis/Bagley on Ultimate Spider-man and a return to normalcy (as much as 9~10 issues per year is normal) for Erik Larsen and the Savage Dragon.

I'm still thankful for family, friends, and the fact that I have a job that pays me enough to afford all the comics I buy. I was lucky enough to have both turkey and ham on Thanksgiving, although the Green bean casserole was a culinary abortion, and my Dad's bread pudding did not turn out very well this time. There's always Christmas.

Really? I tried to make it from scratch a couple of years ago and it was just no good. Nothing beats the ol' standby - can o' green beans + can o' cream o' mushroom soup + can o' fried onions with a little milk = baked creamy goodness! Mmm, mmm, good.

My aunt made the Casserole, and I don't think she's much of a cook. She used cut green beans, not French style, and we're pretty sure she used Cream of Chicken instead of Cream of Mushroom soup, to top it off, she used some goofy kind of fried onions. My Mom usually makes it, and I think she'll be back to making it from now on.
