Fighting game would be easiest, and would probrably create the best Hype. DC vs Marvel, sounds like a sure thing.

It might have been interesting if they did that back in the 90s during the DC vs Marvel comic book crossover, and have the Amaglam people be characters you could unlock.

I'd like an adventure/team up game too, but that would be more complicated to make for obvious reasons.

Who knows. the VS card game has DC and Marvel, as does Heroclix, so maybe it could happen one day.

I think we'll all have free personal jetpacks before that happens.

If capcom did it and really tried I would go for a fighting game.

Other than that I doubt it and I wouldnt be to interested. With a roster like dc and marvel Id be willing to bet they would be more worried about putting charcters in than the gameplay itself.

It's doubtful, because licensing for the Marvel characters would be a prohibitive cost.

It's not impossible. Just highly unlikely that one company could get the license to do both sets of characters. Particularly when people would quickly hate the game because "Wolverine couldn't beat Superman!" or vice-versa.

It'd be a fanboy nightmare trying to "balance" the game. ;)

He's right guys. The VS card game does have both DC and Marvel. So does HeroClix. So the licensing is NOT impossible.

The licensing for tabletop games is also different from the licensing for entertainment media.

In my perfect world, we'd get a Marvel vs. Capcomish type game, as well as an Ultimate Alliance/X-Men Legendsish type game.
Look for me on DCUniverse Online! I'm TalonEarthThree on the PS3 Crisis server....let's team up!
