I LOVE Imelda Staunton! Such a great actress, and a sweet lady.

Not trying to act like one of those shippers but in that first pic it looked like Hermione is holding Harry's hand.

    I don't mean purely appearance.

What scares me about this interpretation of Umbridge is that they've given her this squeaky clean image, as opposed to the descriptions from the book. Umbridge always seemed to be described as short, fat, and mean looking, while always attempting to make herself look kind and innocent with her clothes and office and failing miserably.

What I see in the pictures isn't that. What it looks like the movie is going for is a clean, respectable, almost innocent image, which contrasts heavily with her fanatacism, racism, and vindictiveness later on in the book.

Having her personality hidden instead of telegraphed by her appearance is what scares me, not just purely how she looks.

I really dislike Radcliffe's hair in this movie. It was great in the third, a little too long in the fourth, and entirely too short now.

But on the bright side, everyone else is looking great.
    Praise be to Nero's Neptune,
    The Titanic sails at dawn,
    And everybody's shouting,
    "Which Side Are You On?"

And Ezra Pound and T. S. Eliot,
    Fighting in the captain's tower,
While calypso singers laugh at them,
    And fishermen hold flowers.
Between the windows of the sea,
    Where lovely mermaids flow,
And nobody has to think too much,
    About Desolation Row.

Hmm, is that Luna Lovegood on the right side of the DA pic? I was expecting her to look a little more outlandish.

Well what can you expect considering how Hermione originally looked in the book compared to how she is viewed in the movie version.

I expected Luna's hair to be longer though. Wasn't she suppose to have waist-length blonde hair?

Her hair seems shorter in that picture than it actually is, but I believe you're right. And oddly enough, the pictures released of the actress when she was first cast had her hair seeming much longer.

I'm looking forward to the detention scene. It'll be really creepy.

Yeah. I'm glad that they got rid of the emo-cuts too, but I never pictured Potter with that short hair while reading it.

Reading over teh above sentence, I now feel that I am a gigantic nerd for being so picky over such a thing as hair length.

You and me both. She looks like a teacher I had in junior high. I still have phantom pain on my wrist thanks to that woman.
