Has he ever said in words that he thinks he's evil for comics in the Marvel 616 Universe?

No,but in a sense,he knows that he has done immoral things to earn his vast fortune and power. There are many heartbreaking moments, where Fisk thinking that despite his power and influence,he is so lonely without Vanessa(back then when she was comatose and with mental problems). In fact,i see Fisk(the mainstream version)as the less evil of the big players of Marvel's villainy.Probably do to his loyalty and unconditioned love for his wife.

Also,he is a paragon of the American Dream, how's that makes him evil?? :P

He may not be pure evil the same as Loki, Blackheart, Sabretooth, Mr.Sinister, etc but he's still evil.

Similar to the Chicago Outfit Mob Boss Al Capone he was not completely evil but similar both still are bosses of Crime Bosses with actions that have blood on their hands.
Did I miss something is Kingpin not a man that hired Bullseye to kill people?
Enjoyed Spider Man making a fool of him in the prison fight.

I still have trouble buying the times Kingpin goes hand to hand with Spider-Man.

Kingpin always seems stronger for some reason. Glad he became more of a Daredevil foe.

More often than not, I've seen crime bosses who rely so heavily on their henchmen that it caused me to wonder why any of those henchmen never considered using their skills to take out their employer but with Wilson Fisk, the answer is predetermined. What I like about the Kingpin is that he is the perfect combination of brains and brawn, he is one tough yet highly intelligent SOB who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. There are so many great Kingpin moments but perhaps my all time favorite was the already mentioned battle between the Kingpin and the Red Skull in the Streets of Poison storyline in Captain America.

The reason it stands out so much for me even still till this day is because the Red Skull completely underestimated the Kingpin, he believed that the Kingpin was just low fodder compared to him and yet little did he realize this man was a force to be reckoned with. The Red Skull threw everything he had against the Kingpin and the big man refused to fall. The fact that the Kingpin managed to get the Red Skull to submit in hand to hand combat solidifies him as a bad ass. How many men have ever managed to pull off a feat akin to that and live to tell about it? The Kingpin made the Red Skull back down.
    Yeah, that was a classic.

And it also shows something interesting about Red Skull... he makes most bad guys seem like good guys by comparrison. Put Kingpin in there with the Red Skull, and Kingpin becames a good guy. Same with Doom.

Skull is the villains villain, which is kinda cool.

Skull is just a sick person,no matter the ideology. That's what makes him so despicable, even for other villains.

    Kingpin and Ra's Al Ghul

Of course,Fisk never trusted Ra's,so he sabotaged his plan.

Give the Kingpin respect. Props to the 'Pin.
Is that a issue early in the 90s Ghsot Rider where Blackout the Vampire is sent to get something for Kingpin?
