Deadman #4 *Spoilers*

This issue features Deadman being shot from the flying trapeze, realizing that his costume is only a figment of his imagination, and PROFESSOR PLUM DID IT IN THE STUDY WITH THE CANDLESTICK (okay, okay, I just thought the Professor Plum character was funny).

I know that's not really much of a synopsis, well, okay, it sucks... but the pieces are only beginning to float together...

Best issue of the series, so far.

i intend to pick this one up pretty soon. i love the cover and i pretty much kinda like how the story is set.

I read the issue. This series still confuses the crap out of me. I was also amused by the Prof. Plum line. I might relegate this to one of my "only in trades" books, but not until the end of this story. I hope it starts making more sense soon.

It's not a bad series. I'm actually enjoying it. I don't know too much about Deadman history, but is this series based on the DCU version of the character?

Oh God, I hope not. I saw Boston on the last cover and I almost bought it, but I'm hoping Jones was playing that for a cheap gag instead of tying this book into the Boston Brand character or the Rama Kushna origin.

Nope. This is a completely new Deadman.

Nope, totally separate from the Boston mythos. I think it was just a nice nod to the original Deadman. But I'm loving this series. It's great, Sarah and Brandon's interactions are nicely done. Pick this series up pronto.
