    So close.

One page left, then thirteenthstory zine issue two is complete.
It is a bit longer than issue one, and will be available Monday.

In prep for the huge assembly project, here is a shot of some covers drying:

I've decided to apply the color cover as a sticker this time around, so I could make more use of the inner and back covers. Its working nicely.

    Hope you are all well.

Congrats, Jaye. How's everything going with the zine?

Outstanding. Can't wait to see it.

Incidentally, has this led to any commissions or sales yet?

It is a lot of work, but very satisfying. This one has a few improvements over the first issue, like a better binding and more pages directly related to art. I'm pretty happy with it. I guess the only thing I'd change at this point is the quality of photocopy. Sadly, I've lost three backgrounds due to the copier not picking them up. Someday I hope to compile the best bits of the zines into book form with super high quality printing so people can see what I intended them to see!

    Its on it way.
And I've sold original art as a direct result of it, but no commissions.
I'm made a ton of them this time and will be selling them at fairs in the Fall. I'm curious to see the effect of that.

    Thanks.

Your work has only gotten more and more gorgeous. Its been quite some time, so not sure if you recall me prior to Zero Hour or not-- I was Dormammu back in those days.

I'm loving your work and all your myriad pieces here; that last one would make a fantastic kitchen or bathroom tile accent. The color and silhouette just really grabs your eyeline.

Oh... and I'll be sending for your zines shortly, can't wait to see them.

That's what's important, that you find yourself doing what you like.

And those last paintings are awesome, Jaye. I'm particularly fond of the weather one.

Check out the review for issue two of the zine, thirteenthstory. From Neofutur Magazine.

... This issue is incredibly small and short, and yet I got more out of it than I do with practically any other zine on the market. ...

    Thanks,
