    Default Lesser Known Superhero Nicknames

I think one of the fun things about superhero comics is examining the nicknames that superheroes get, whether from other characters or in their marketing.

We know most of the notable ones, like Man of Steel or Man of Tomorrow for Superman.

Dark Knight, Darknight Detective, Caped Crusader for Batman.

    Webhead, Webspinner, Spidey for Spider-Man.

But how about some of the lesser known ones?

How many Superman, Batman and Spider-Man nicknames can you think of?

Giant-Man had that horrible nickname "High Pockets"
Iron Man is the "Golden Avenger" and "Shellhead"
Thor is sometimes called "Goldielocks" mostly by Spider-Man

    Superman: The Action Ace
His city had a silly, seldom-used "official" nickname, The Big Apricot.

With Marvel characters, you also have an additional category, your "Hulk Name."

Some weird site I saw a few months back said that The Flash was also occasionally known as Whiz Wizard, the Sultan of speed and the Monarch of motion.

Much less prominently, the DnA Legion also had their 'Shikari names': Dark Legion, Fair Legion, Bold Legion, Brown Legion...

Was it Spider-Man? I thought it was Hawkeye. It was pretty funny either way. :)
