Default Ultimate Ragnarok *Possible Spoilers for The Ultimates 2*

In the Ultimate 2, Thor mentioned something about he was sent to prevent the Wars that End all Wars. Do you suppose it is Ragnarok?. Is The Ultimates 2 a prelude to Ragnarok? I have a feeling it might be so.

I loved the 616 Version of Ragnarok ( Thor 80-85 ), hoping for an Ultimate Version, maybe in a Thor Mini-Series or whatever.

    What do yall think?

Given the almost non-existant exposure of Asgardians in the Ultimate universe, I would say there is no Ragnarok in the near future.

On a side note, I'd like to point out that, by my recollection, there have been three Ragnaroks in 616.

Yea- but very neatly (IMO) explained in Thor: Dissassembled. I hate the name of the collection, but a damn good story by Oeming.

It's possible that an Ultimate Ragnarok would have nothing to do with Asgard.

But then again what could a Marvel Ragnarok be related to?

Well, this is True, but so far Loki has already appeared. Maybe few more will in the future. Loki also did call Thor by the name Odinson.

Cause when the Ultimate 1 first came out, everyone thought Thor was just someone who thinks he is Thor.

Now since Ultimate 2, most of us except he really is Thor.

Still , ill just hope they do one which will be as good as the one did in Thor : Disassemble.

We've also seen Volstagg, assuming he was real.

Could be related to a bunch of super hero and villians fighting. Ragnarok suppose to be a war to end all wars in Norse Mythology. And Thor has mentioned he was put on earth to save it from that.

Maybe a War with the comic powers of Dark Pheonix or the Infinity Gems and Thanos ?

I think it would be awesome to see a bunch of Asgardian lunatics go at it in the final issue, like Loki and Thor posthumans not gods (like mutants or something) and then Volstagg and Valkyrie amongst others come into it.

Would sure make for an epic and original finale, I would love to see an Ultimate Ragnarok but I don't want to see Ultimate Gods...

    Indeed she did!

It's was also revealed she has no powers to speak of. Well none if you ignore the power that most absolute biscuits have over men ;)

Avengers and Bendis connections aside, THOR: DISSASSEMBLED makes perfect sense for a story about the end of that particular mythology in the Marvel Universe....
