Default Y'know, Superman's Kandor costume is wicked.

I've been playing that Justice League Heroes game with the Kandor Superman. It just looks cool. Even though Godfall wasn't very good, I hope they bring that costume back.

I love the traditional outfit, but I'd like it if the character got to wear different uniforms every once and awhile.

I also liked the Timmverse Superman space suit.

Would you happen to have any scans/links to these outfits? I read Godfall, but I'm curious how the suit looks in-game.

Also, by Timmverse do you mean that spacesuit Supes wore in the animated series?

    Yup. The white one.

You could check GameSpy.com and check for screenshots of the Kandor suit. .

I like that costume in JLH too. Here's the best ingame shot I can find of it:

Here's one from the Godfall story.

I wouldn't mind seeing Supes in it some more too. I really think heroes should use alternate uniforms from time to time depending on who they are facing.

    Likewise.

I usually can't stand alternate costumes, but that one doesn't bother me.

I didn't like it, just like I didn't like Kelly's cyberpunk ghetto-Kandor. I like variations in the costume, but usually, complete overhauls of the design don't look all that great to me. I liked the Kingdom Come "S" he wore for a while after Our Worlds at War, and the most distant variation of his costume I liked was the Kryptonian silver and black suit, but even that one got tired looking fast (which is something to say, considering he's been wearing basically the same costume for seventy years).

I think it's a cool looking costume but it could never work for any real length of time. The blue, red and yellow simply needs to be updated. NO MORE MAN-PANTIES.

The problem with updating the outfit of a character like Superman is that his signature look has become iconic. It's risky to change the outfit, but if done right I'm sure more fans would agree to it.

The Godfall costume is actually quite nifty, but I wouldn't like to see Supes where it as a regular costume.

His classic blue/red/yellow design may seem outdated (Specifically the underwear on the outside), but there's a likeable, friendly quality to it that is lost when altered.

Even adding gloves or removing the red shorts gives it a more "uniform" like impression-- There's just something comforting about his classic design that makes you believe that seeing it flash across the sky would make people smile.

I'm not saying the traditional duds should be ditched, I just think Supes should be seen wearing different costumes every once and awhile.

A space suit? As long as it doesn't have that heretic helmet, I'd be fine.

I'd like to see him wearing different uniforms depending on the occasion. For example, if in some sort of important battle of war, he should use some sort of ritual uniform from he House Of El. An armor? Perhaps, but not because he needed any protection, but because it is part of his Kryptonian heritage. The same should go with that Space Suit.

If he wore any uniform different to his traditional one, it'd be because his Kryptonian blood calls for it, nothing else.

EDIT: and actually, his traditional uniform should have a stronger link to his Kryptonian side.

Yeah, me too. It's like a mix between Kingdom Come and the black suit he sometimes used in the mainstream comics.

I know the animated Superman had that clunky lead suit, but I think Superman should alter his suit so that it has elements of lead built into it to decrease the damage of Kryptonite. It could look the same, just have lead particles in it. Obviously it wouldn't shield him completely because his hands and face are exposed, but it could help.
