Wow, I didn't know that there were that many Archie Comics still coming out. Kind of cool.

Archie comics will never die. I was a big fan of Archie back when I was a youngster. It's still pretty fun. It's probably one of the only major popular titles that younger kids can read.

Well said. I started reading Archie comics back in 1968 during my frequent visits to the dentist! Have been hooked since then. I like the way how the creators try to keep Archie & the gang in with changing times without altering their basic nature.

A related question: what online comic shops (with international shipping) would you recommend to someone looking for certain recent Archie backissues (1-2 years)? Specifically the current Sabrina series. I know Mile High is well-stocked, but I hoped to avoid their prices. Not many others of the usual suspects seem to stock much Archie stuff.

Have you looked at E-bay? A lot of dealers (including Mile High) have outlets there. Check the 'shops' sections as well. You may not see anything for a month, then suddenly there will be entire collections on offer.

Same here I remember reading them when I was young as well. Mom still reads them so I still get to check them out from time to time at least the digest that are easily found. It's still entertaining and really a welcome change from all the seriousness, gritty, depressing, violent, sex filled stories you see coming out of DC and Marvel far to often.

I hope these comics (Archie and family) never go away and stay around for a long time to come.

I need to find the recent Anniversary issue though for Archie. I missed Free Comic Book Day this year due to not being the area where the cloest comic shop is located but I do know my mom wanted this. Any online stores that sell it? Would like Ebay to be my last resort.
