    Default Good Avengers Stories?

Hey, next week im goin to the New York City Comic Convention, and i was thinking on buying some good story arcs or other good issues of the Avengers. If anyone could reccommend any good story arcs for me that would be really great :D . Besides good story arcs i am interested in issues that had beast and wonderman in the lineup.

Check this site for a checklist of every comic Gentleman George worked on, including the Avengers.

May I recommend the amusing back up filler "Smacks of Vengence!":D

But seriously folks, DDM seems to have had the reply already formated and ready for the question to resurface again! GOOD JOB! I can't disagree with anything he suggested!

True - but I could add the following storylines (no Beast/Wonder Man stuff tho):

    Avengers #267-269 Kang/Immortus war
    Avengers #272-277 Under Siege
    Avengers #280 Jarvis focus
Avengers #281-285 Avengers take on Olympus
    Avengers #334-339 The Collection Obsession
    Avengers Forever #1-12

And don't get me started on Operation Galactic Storm

Some of the stuff listed is certainly not what I would list (everyone has their own likes and dislikes), but I am with you on the Korvac Saga.

That is my pick as the best Avengers arc ever.

The only place I have the information formatted is my memory.

I'd also recommend X-Univers #1 and #2. This shows what a powerless team of Avengers (including Don Blake, Tony Stark, Doom, and Gwen Stacy) were upt to in the Age of Apocalypse. Even in a world that was in ruins where the heroes never had a chance to even really get their powers they acted like heroes.

    Question

Can anyone recommend any more good Avengers stories. Maybe also from recent ones from the 90s and 2K+. Thanks.
