    Very, VERY nice.

I know where I'll be the night before it opens. Yup, standing in line for the midnight show at the Cine Capri (Arizona's big screen theater).

While this looks awesome, I can't help but wonder about the missing shot all of fandom has been waiting for since this movie was announced. That seems to be one glimpse they are playing really close to the vest.

I'm a huge, longtime Spidey fan, and yet i know not of which you speak...what shot?

Looks very nice, and thanks for the link!

I'm still skeptical as to how they're going to play the whole alien suit angle, but I think portraying it as a darkenening of Peter's soul during his revenge phase is a good way to do it. It will still be interesting to see though how it all plays out.

Also, I'm wondering why we aren't seeing any Venom footage. Probably still working on the SFX for the character.

    Bingo!

That's the money shot most fans have been waiting to see in the trailer. Kind of weird that they don't even elude to that in this trailer.

Here's a nice, spoilery image of Venom. This is from the toy companies I guess, a guide of sorts.

If you don't want it spoiled, DO NOT CLICK!

It was nice but still, I find the whole concept of Sandman being the killer of uncle Ben a bit too naive...

I agree. Plus it's too pat, kind of like in Tim Burton's first Batman movie when they made The Joker (Jack Napier) Thomas Wayne's killer instead of random street thug Joe Chill from the comics.

Also, I've always considered Sandman to be one of Spidey's second-string villains. More of a fun villain than a menacing one, like the Green Goblin.

How they're going to balance three villains, the addition of Gwen and Peter's struggle with the alien symbiote is going to be interesting. I just hope it doesn't end up like Joel Schumacher's Batman movies. I know Sam Raimi won't make it campy and colorful, but it would seem there are too many characters and subplots for a two-hour movie.
