    Default Is MUAII possible?

News came out today, Sega has the rights to Iron Man, and Take2 has the rights to the Fantastic Four. Now, I don't know how the licensing is going exactly, especially since it has been pretty wonky in the past, with stuff like Iron Man showing up in the Punisher game. But is this going to kill the potential for a sequel?

Doubt it. The licensing will either allow these characters to appear in MUAII or they just won't include them. If you've beat MUA, you'll know that the ending strongly hints to a part two.

And if this new IM game is based off the movie, it will most likely be a steaming pile of crap.

Sometimes the game rights are based off the character as they appear in the movie rather than the character as they appear in the comic books.

Sega has the rights to use both film and comic book versions of Iron Man for their games. If there are plans for an MAU2 then Iron Man won't make the cut.

I don't have the slightest idea what the contracts actually specify, but there's no inherent reason a license would have to be exclusive.

Unless the license entails exclusivity, it isn't an exclusive license.
