Artists needed for new comic line!

Hey all,

My name is McCord Larsen. I am the owner of a new comic book company in the
United States known as MaeDay comics.I am currently recruiting artists to work on our new line of comic books. To be honest, I cannot offer you much at this point of time. Here's what I can promise you If accepted;
- your work will be published in a comic book
- Guaranteed work for a 6 issue arc, maybe more
- Your artwork will be presented at Comic-Con in San Diego in 2008. (Comic-Con boasts to be the largest comic book convention in the world)
- at Comic-Con business cards of your very own will be passed out to admirers and potential big time comic book employers (paid for by me).
We can certainly discuss a fee (if necessary). But as I said before, we are just starting out so we would not be able to offer you much.
If interested, we will send you a page or scene from the script and and a copy of the original story board art for that scene, so that you might have an idea of what we're trying to accomplish. We would then inspect the art that you send us, and make our decisions. We are looking for pencilists, colorists, and inkers. So if you are just trying to make a name for yourself, here would be the place to begin!

If you would like five sample pages drawn, based from your storyboards and script, I am game.

I don't care much about making a name for myself, you get 12 pages of reports back if you Google my name now. I make great money at my art gig, have a lot of respect as I've been at it for 16 years.

And I am always looking for something new and intersting, and would like to see the scripts and storyboards.

To all,

I'm sorry that I made this solicitation unclear. If you look now, I have edited the statement to what I really meant. I never intended on having the artist do the whole book for his sample. (I tried that once, it did not work out so well for me ) The art was terrible then I felt bad for having him do so much work. So if you look at it will now read what I had intended it to say.

Hey all,

Make sure any of you that are going to Comic-Con here within the next two years look for us. We've made some decisions but still have some projects we'll be working on until we make our little expedition to San-Diego. So if you're still interested. Let me know!
