    Default Just bought USM game...

I know i'm a little late but this game is tough! I'm still trying to kill Rhino..damn him and his cars. The cool thing is that they got his voice down pat! Like I would have imagined his voice being. Too bad they ruined Wolverine's voice but Venom sounds like he would to me. Anyone else like this game?

I really like the game. It captures the style and feel of the comic well IMO.

My only criticisms are, one, its too short, and two, it feels a little like a watered down version of the Spider-man 2 movie game.

And on a side note, it might just be my copy but the Venom/Electro fight is glitched. Its practically impossible for me to destroy the building signs/lights for some reason, and after a certain point into the fight, my game friggin' freezes on me. I honestly don't know how I got past that part.

    Anybody else have this problem?

You know this is a great game. My only complaint is you CAN NOT beat the last Human Torch race. People have claimed they beat it, but I spent a couple hours on it. No matter what happened he beat me in the end. I could be way ahead but still he beat me. Drove me crazy. I think they knew the game was so short so they designed something that was impossible to keep you playing for hours.

I can beat it. I'd tell you how, but that would both require me to have the game with me and start a file so that I can get back to that point. It's possible, I assure you.

I love paying $50 for four hours of game.

I'm just glad EB bought this one back almost at-cost.

Mine was PS2. That's basically how I beat him as well, but the trick is to knock out the lights so he doesn't regenerate his health. Every time I try to pound on the dude he makes with the electric explosion, which is really annoying.

From what I remember of the Electro fight, the idiot got stuck in a corner on a building, so I just threw cars at him until he fell down from it.

I can't beat any of the Human Torch races :o

It's a good game but too the story is too short. Spider-Man 2 was better in all areas.

I loved the game, but gave up, as I wasn't able to get passed the Venom/Electro race. Maybe it's just me (I'm not that quick somtimes with console games, been outta the loop to long), but it seems almost impossible, chasing a dude who can knock you out of the range of the chase with one shot. I just swing around and have fun till I get bored now.

that race was just cruel. it took me hours to beat it. i had to settle for not getting too cloe to electro. it can be done though.

The stupid Electro chase is just like all the other unnecessary chase levels. You just have to stay close enough so that he doesn't "get away", and just keep going until the time runs out.

Never had any problems with my PS2 copy.

I found the game did an amazing job of capturing the feel of USM and is a lot of fun to play, even if there is better SM games.

The first time I played through I thought the game was insanely hard and short. It really reminded me of some of the old school games in that aspect. After going through the game a second time I fond that everything was far easier now that I had a better grasp of what to do.

The game also has a lot of side events but the real problem is the extremely short story. On top of that every stage seems to be either a chase or a boss fight.

I’d recommend renting it to any fan of USM. Even though I own it, I wouldn’t recommended anyone to buy it until they’ve rented it. Even if they are hardcore USM fans.
