Justice League of America #3 (***SPOILERS***)

Mary Marvel's spoilers from the DC Forums

-Trident freezes Parasite
-Black Lightning defeats Trident by using Tridents trident as a lightning rod
-Red Tornado is told by the Phantom Stranger that it was not Deadman who deceived him.
-Each Tornado has a different power depending on their color.
-Big Cheesecake butt shot of Black Canary during the battle for the hard up fanboys.
-Black Canary, Arsenal and Green Lantern defeat the army of Red Tornados.
-Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman are still choosing members. No mention is Batman is in, nor Wonder Woman or Superman.
-Black Lightning is knocked out by Dr. Impossible.
-Dr. Impossible takes off with the Parasite leaving Trident.
-Hawkgirl shows up and helps Black Lightning up.
-Dr. Impossible cuts off part of Parasites arm and the crumbled pieces are placed into Red Tornado’s original body.
-Dr. Ivo attaches pointed ears to Red Tornado’s head for its new inhabitant.
-Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman choose Cyborg for the League.
-Black Lightning and Hawkgirl show up in the Batcave with Trident, he is unconscious, to reveal a Staro on the back of his neck.

it had superman and only superman on it. didn't get a good look though. i was miffed cause the shipping forgot to ship it to my store, but the guy said they should get it later today. so i'm good. now i got something to get me through chem and bio atleast

I might get it, just since I like Superman. My LCS charges $9 for it though, so I will probably wait and find it cheaper on ebay or something.

He's as much on the team as Power Girl is at this point.

It's looking like more and more that Bats/WW/Supes are just going to throw out all of their silly high school clique voting and just go with the team trying to save the world now.

...but who is the shadowed figure still there? and now Staro's... it is certaintly becoming one giant mystery!

yah!! this was an awesome issue. spoilers i guess. the whole fight with canary, hal and roy was great. when hal takes out the other androids...that was great! and now the anti-benes club will have something to talk about. big ass shot of canary. but whaatever. i loved the art this issue, better than last one. and i reread and realized that the shadow dude is gonna put the armor ON. who is this guy?

The big three are STILL at the FRICKING TABLE!

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood, but nearly every single solitary thing about this issue annoyed me.

probably a bad mood. but i dunno, there was a lot to like. and i have to agree with them still being at a table. think about it...whenever the main people meet at a big table to talk war or something. it takes awhile. and think about like a jury, those can go on forever. and this is the league, so they're taking there time

that's the point of the story! that while they are up there, in their tower putting together their version of the league, a league is being formed, revolving around Red Tornado's stolen body.

Y'know, I get the feeling they're going to be there the whole arc. I think there's a point, that will eventually be revealed, about the big three not being the sole arbiters on the League and the JLA is more amorphous an organisation.

Damn, that sounds stupid...Let's see if I can make my point any better.

I think at the end of the arc, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman will have picked a League and emerge to fiond the League has formed, irregardless of their output. The point being that it'll show the League is bigger than those three and will live on anyway....without relying on the trinity being in control.

Does that make any sense?
