    Default Huge Ult Spider-man Collection

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day, and I picked up this huge Ult. Spidey hardcover that collects 1-39. The price was $49.95 and it had a 30% off sticker tacked onto it, so I got it for < $40 after tax. Does anyone know if there are other collectoins like this?

I believe that is a Barnes and Noble only special and that's the only version out so far. I remember seeing this as well from time to time.

The Marvel Omnibus collections are basically the same thing as the USM Barnes and Noble exclusive. So far they've collected about the first 20 or so issues of Fantastic Four and Claremonts original X-Men run in seperate volumes. Volumes of Grant Morrison's entire run of New X-Men and Frank Miller's Daredevil are also to be released soon.

The USM one kicks ass, I must say; I just hope the spine on mine doesn't break. Talk about a bargain.

I have that book too and there is no more like it really.

The Omnibus boks from marvel is the thickest from Marvel, the FF one has the 30 first FF books frm the 60s and the X-men one has the 40 first books from the 70s X-men variant.

I hope more of these comes out even if they are big and a bit too heavy to read sometimes.
But currently there is nothing like that book you bought with "new" comics.
