I have a few Ressurrection Mana issues here and they were a really fun read.

I think it started going south when he started hanging with the JLA, guy has no business wearing tights.

Except he really didn't start hanging with the JLA; it was mental manipulation by Hooker, the Body Doubles, and the reality warping guy whose name I forget. It was pretty shrewd storytelling by DnA, as I, like a lot of fans, expected Mitch to have a bigger role in the DCU after his turn in DC One Million. It also set up the conclusion, which answered questions lingering from the beginning, like is Mitch Shelley actually the post-Crisis Immortal Man, and what is his connection with Vandal Savage?

RM was a great series, and I'd say pick it up if you can. It's also the best work of Jackson Guice, who is brilliant when on, but has an inconsistant output overall.

I've never read any version of Nightforce, although I do have to admit I find Baron Winters to be an interesting character.

I have some random issues of Resurrection Man but have not gotten around to reading them, although the creative team of DnA and Butch Guice is awesome !

I did read Night Force, the original series from the 80's by Wolfman & Gene Colan, the same time that did the fan favorite award winning Tomb of Dracula for Marvel. This was kind of in the same vein for DC. It truly was an underrated series. I was glad to see them come back in the 90's and hope to see them again, except hopefully this time under the Vertigo imprint. I love the concept.

My favorite Ressurection man story is the Hitman story. Overall, I miss the series and want to reread it soon.
Night Force really had a great setup, but wasn't given the chance to do anything with it either time.

Night Force was a great series. Mix X-Files with the DC Universe, and you've got Night Force. It had a real paranoid feel about it. I'd say it was ahead of it's time. Highly recommended.

While not one of the books you mentioned, Power Company is another great obscure book.

Resurrection Man is really good, especially since I've found most of the series in quarter/cheapie bins. I'm only missing two or three issues of the series and probably haven't spent more than fifteen bucks on it... that comes out to about sixty-eight cents an issue. I would go as far as to say that it's one of my favorite DC series: strong concept, strong characters (especially a strong female character, the lack of which I complain about in comics), and strong but still surprising delivery. A.

Resurrection Man was awesome. I've got a complete run, and it stands alongside the best of the 90's DC Universe stuff with Aztek, Hitman, The Spectre, and Starman. Great, great series.
