I am a crossover Junkie, so right now I get the Secret Invasion tie-ins. Without those included, these are the books I get on a regular basis.

    Anything Fantastic Four
    Anything Hellboy / BPRD
    Iron Man: Legacy of Doom
    Hellblazer
    Kick-Ass
    Daredevil
    New Avengers
    Mighty Avengers
    Avengers: The Initiative
    She-Hulk
    Hulk
    Captain America
    Invincible Iron Man
    Thor
    Amazing Spider-Man
    Last Defenders
    Walking Dead
    Jack Staff
    1985
    Haunt of Horror: HP Lovecraft
    Criminal Macabe
    Punisher: War Journal
    Punisher Max

    I think that’s it.

Sadly, Grendel and Y the Last Man are over… for now.

You know, looking back on this list, I am a ridiculous Marvel Fanboy. Seriously, by this list, you’d think I was 12.

    Hellboy/BPRD/anything Mignola
    Atomic Robo
    Usagi Yojimbo
    Castle Waiting

I might be a tad unusual in that I follow creators much more often than titles. I buy the occasional pulp and retro-SF material that looks interesting, and a *lot* of art books.
These creators are pretty much must-haves for me:

Mike Kaluta, Charles Vess, Gary Gianni, Mark Schultz, William Stout, Al Williamson, Moebius, P. Craig Russell, Francois Schuiten, Roy Krenkel

What I forgot to mention for my box is:
    - the Amazing Spider-Man # 558 by BARRY KITSON (great artist, one of the coolest/nicest
artistpersons I've ever met) He also has
    - Secret Invasion: Fanta Four # 1-3 coming out.

Hey, I do that too (and I also enjoy Moebius, Mark Schultz and Al Williamson), and must say it really works for me. Ever since starting to - around 1993 - collecting comics has for me become much more gratifying. Aside from sure-to-be-smashing characters like HB (related) and Shaolin Cowboy I find the quality of the makers as - if not more - important than the players.
WARNING: hateful!? > Why else would I read Spider-Man or 'the Four' nowadays if somebody great wasn't drawing it!

Exactly; why do you think Spider-Man raised in popularity for awhile when Todd McFarlane started drawing him?

I don't even think a great artist would get me back to reading Spider-Man. Maybe if Mignola did it, maybe.

Well, looking back on my last post in November of 2006 my list hasn't changed all that much.

    Hellboy (singles and trades)
    B.P.R.D. (singles and trades)
Mouse Guard (singles and the hard cover when it's published)
    Conan (hardbacks as published)
Cal McDonald Stories (whenever they're published)
The Walking Dead (trades only - love zombies)
Other random things from Dark Horse like the Books of...

    Now I'm reading:

Anything in the Hellboy-verse (singles, trades and library editions)
    Conan (hardbacks as published)
    Cal McDonald Stories (singles)
Umbrella Academy (singles and trades - hope there is more)
    Rex Mundi (trades)
    Mouse Guard (singles)
    The Walking Dead (trades)
    Invincible (trades)
Other random stuff that catches my eye or is recommended

    Waiting on...
    Solomon Kane
    The Devil's Footprints

Might pick up a trade of the Invasion series from Marvel and possibly Final Crisis trades from DC. I usually wait to see what the final verdict is before I bother.

I found the first seven issues on eBay recently, and it does indeed rock. I'm really glad you guys tipped me to it. Incredible art, and i'm really digging the writing, so funny.

Also ordered the first Atomic Robo trade.

Not much. I mainly just pick up trades when they're released. I can't really afford to go nuts on single issues these days.

The Goon (my favorite next to Madman)
    Hellboy
    BPRD
Madman (my favorite next to Hellboy)
    The Walking Dead
Conan (when I'm in the mood)
Fables (when I'm in the mood)
Astonishing X-Men (when I'm in the mood and only because it's Whedon)

And any other trade that tickles my fancy, which is usually mostly everything else.

Naturally anything in the HB universe (Hellboy, BPRD, Lobstah Johnson)
Plenty of other Dark Horse goodness (Conan, Rex Mundi, several Star Wars titles, Indiana Jones, Solomon Kane )
Marvel: Secret Invasion, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Avengers/Invaders, Captain America, Astonishing X-men, Wolverine, Eternals and Immortal Iron Fist (if you haven't checked this out, do yourself a favor and pick up an issue!)
DC: Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, Batman, JLA and JSA
I'm also looking forward to Galveston from Boom Studios.

Has anyone heard of Dead Rider (it was titled Deadlander for issue 1) from Dark Horse? The first two issues were great, but then it fell off the face of the Earth. Does anyone know what the status of this book is?
